Synopsis:
Jeannie Pepper is trying to break back into the industry. She's having trouble so she offers herself to a director to help get her career rolling again.

Audio/Video:
Salt and Pepper is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track, which works alright for the material being presented in the movie. There isn't any need for fancy audio tracks with this film as it is primarily dialog driven and any such tracks would most likely sound stereophonic for the most part anyway. There is a slight hiss throughout the movie, not enough to destroy the viewing experience, but it is obvious that it is there. The audio levels also vary throughout the film, which can get a little annoying at times, but it doesn't ruin the viewing experience either. The dialog is clear and easy to hear at all times during the feature movie. Elegant Angel hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the feature movie.

Salt and Pepper is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the movie. The picture is soft but looks good. The color levels are correct and the picture is free of blemishes, artifacts and glitches. Viewers shouldn't have any complaints about the video quality exhibited on the disc.

Special Features:
There are only two extras included on the disc and neither of them relate to the feature movie. There is a bonus scene from Sugarwalls 38, which is a fifteen-and-a-half minute scene featuring two females and one male. There are also trailers on the disc for Reel 2 Real, Cumback Pussy 49, Slave Dolls, Dirty Trixxx, and Internally Yours 3.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with nice looking simple animated menus with background music. The menus give a good feel for the movie before the viewer starts viewing it. There are six chapters available from the chapter menu and located within the feature movie. They are identified on the chapter menu by a video clip and the chapter number. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film.

General Review:
Salt and Pepper, in many ways, reminds me of the movies that Legend made in the early 90s, which isn't a good thing since I didn't like the movies that Legend made then. Viewers that liked the movies released by Legend back then will probably fare better with this one than I did. I found the movie to be disappointing overall, Elegant Angel has proven that they can make far better movies than this one. It almost seems that this title was thrown together to add another title to the line up.

One of the issues that I had with the film is the plot, what little there is, is very bad. Andre Johnson would have been better off by making the movie an all sex movie than plot based as what passes as the plot brings down the film. The plot exists only to bring the sex scenes to the viewer and bounces around as it sees fit to bring the scenes to you. It doesn't really serve any purpose and I found myself wanting to fast forward to just get to the sex scenes.

The movie has all around low production values. The sets and locations used work, but are nothing wonderful. They are mostly your generic looking indoor sets. Nothing great, but nothing that will wreck the movie either. None of the camera work stuck out as excellent. All I kept thinking while watching the film was how much it resembled the old Legend movies, which points out the biggest problem that I had with the movie. Instead of being engrossed by it, I found it rather boring and my mind was wandering.

As far as the sex scenes go, I wasn't very interested with them either. Jeannie Pepper doesn't do anything for me, which made her scenes a waste for me. The scene with Julie Night and Justin Slayer was rougher than I was interested in watching, which put that one out for me as well. The only scene that I found myself actually enjoying was the scene with Crystal Ray and Jay Monte. The last scene with Taylor Lynn and Junior King wasn't too bad either. Viewers that like rougher sex without a purpose for it being that way or the stars present in the movie may fare better than me with the sex scenes. The sexual themes in the movie are vaginal and anal sex with blow jobs, pussy eating, titty fucking, hand jobs, anilingus, DP, lesbianism, and A2M. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the movie at any time.

Scene Synopsis:

If you are interested in the movie, I recommend a rental before purchasing, so you are sure that you like it.
