RX: Open Wide (Director's Expanded Edit) Review

In RX: OPEN WIDE directors Brian Mills and Harold Creg return to the hospital setting they had used earlier in LAID UP. Although hospitals have been frequently used as the setting for sexual encounters, hardly anyone in hospital is feeling up to sex. One memorable exception for me, however, was once when I had a beautiful blond intern in his mid-twenties whose daily visits to examine me will remain unforgettable. [sigh].

The film opens with a butch male nurse (Ulizes Carpelli) coming to give patient Joey Dino a bath. Joey’s raging hard-on is tenting the covers and Ulizes uncovers it. With the covers thrown back we see that Joey is wearing a leather thong around his balls. We follow the rope affixed to them over the end of the bed to see that two large weights are stretching his balls. Testicles in traction? The nurse goes down on Joey’s dick and drops his load on Joey’s leg. Thereafter he undoes the ball traction and climbs onto the bed in order for Joey to eat out his ass and fuck him. They stop briefly for Ulizes to rim Joey and then go right back to the fucking. Burly balding Daddy bears just ain’t my thing, but for those who love them, this scene is for you.

Very much to my liking, on the other hand, is the next scene. Marcos David, making his debut here has come to see Dr. Jason Hawke with a problem: his dick will just not go down. How fortuitous, as this is the best scene in the film and the one I will return to most often.)

Marco Montana, an unshaven male nurse whom we saw spying on Joey and Ulizes in scene one, brings Joey a bedpan to “pee” in. (Marco’s word, not mine. At least he didn’t say, “wee wee”.) After Joey “pees”. Marco licks the dick clean. Joey cums as Marco is chewing on one of his nipples. Marco cums while Joey is pinching his tits. That’s that.

Nurse Leo Bramm is flaking out on a sofa in the waiting room when security guard Mario Ortiz enters and rubs his foreskin on Leo’s forehead. Soon the dick is in Leo’s mouth. Still clothed, they 69. Both eat ass and cum. Then in turn –a-fuck’s fair play both will screw the other and cum again.

No Titan film would be complete without one of Brian Mills’ captivating photo shoots. Once again the highlight for me were the shoots of Marcos David and Jason Hawke, especially with Marcos fluffing Jason three times.

A Behind the Scenes is fun—but much too short. (interesting when they include camera notes for the editor)

While neither as kinky nor as passionate as the earlier hospital effort LAID UP, this film is typical Titan fare—and that says a lot. It’s enough to make one seriously consider a medical career. General Hospital was never like this!
