Running Wild (Adonis Pictures) Review

Hunky Justin Wells is having a series of dreams. (If I had them they would be wet dreams.) He is jogging and passes several hot guys who then go on to have sex with others. Luckily their sex is included in the dream.

The first guy Justin jogs by is young Bobby Williams. His pairing is with the delightful Brad Benton. From adorable twink with a voracious sexual appetite, Brad has become a young stud with a voracious sexual appetite. (Could anything be more fun than having sex with Brad Benton? Well, having sex with Brad Benton and all the other guys in this film would qualify.) Brad is soaking in a hot tub when we first see him. He motions for Bobby to join him. As Brad rises up from the water to pull off Bobby’s briefs we see that Brad has already sprung a boner. These two dream boys suck and rim until Bobby says he’s cold and wants to go indoors. (How could anyone get cold with Brad Benton even in Antarctica?) Lying on plush pillows on the floor, their lovemaking continues with each fucking the other.

Justin next passes Corbin Michaels as an UPS deliveryman. When Corbin delivers a package to Jason Crew and Jonathan Gabriel, the box bursts open and numerous dildos spill out. Jason and Jonathan strip the hapless deliveryman and have him go down on their rampant dicks. (I guess that really should be "happy" deliveryman.) Jonathan joins him in sucking Jason’s cock and together they do the bit originated by Kristen Bjorn where each puts his lips on opposing sides of a cock as the cock pistons between them. When Jonathan takes over sucking solo, Corbin lubes Jonathan’s ass with his tongue in preparation of Jason’s fucking it. Then after a bit—in a totally unprepared cut—we find Jason sitting astride Corbin’s cock, his feet propped up on Corbin’s knees as he rides up and down on the UPS man. Now this is hot. But it would have been a hundred times hotter if we had seen Jason sit down on the cock and not simply discover him already impaled. Surely a seasoned director like Michael Zen knows this! But what is worse is the fact that the scene’s hottest moment lasts all of 5 seconds (and I’m not exaggerating here). That is when Jonathan is seen—rather glimpsed—fucking Jason in the missionary position. We see Jonathan’s cock fucking Jason again when Jason beats off, but it’s a close-up then. I was really disappointed here.

Justin’s alarm goes off and he wakes up and heads out for a jog. (Actually we are misled here, as he doesn’t really. Later crosscutting shows him still asleep.) The person he passes on this jog is Anthony Shaw who is sitting in his car smoking a joint. A natural blond with a face that looks as though it has been carved out of granite, Anthony is unique. And he’s one hell of a fuck. His getting fucked in the toilet in WHITE TRASH is one of the hottest fucks on film. Anthony is enjoying his smoke when patrolman Nick Capra pokes his head in the window. Nick is another hot performer. His dark Italianate good looks contrasts beautifully with the alabaster Anthony. After a bit of patrolman badinage, Nick has Anthony follow him to what appears to be a motel for a bit of Driver’s Ed. There he tears off Anthony’s clothes and licks his dick. It ain’t gentle. Anthony primes Nick’s pump and soon the hunky patrolman is parking his prick in Anthony’s anal garage. (Twice the film changes to black and white to signify that in his dream Justin assists Anthony in the preparation of Nick’s prick.) Once again—and this is the very opposite of my usual criticism—the fuck didn’t go on long enough. At the end of the scene we see Justin kissing Anthony. However it’s shown in color breaking the convention established earlier.

Suddenly we find ourselves in a dungeon setting. Corbin is in a dog cage. Justin is feeding him a flesh bone between the bars. Nick stands on one side of Justin; Bobby on the other. Pounding their puds they are uttering the clichés "Suck that dick” and “You like sucking that dick?” Anthony can be seen standing in another cage behind them. Nick and Bobby come forward so Corbin can stroke their cocks as he continues to feed on Justin’s long dong. He sucks awhile on Nick and then we cut to Nick deep-throating Bobby’s big one as Corbin (now out of his cage) and Justin 69 and rim ass. Anthony is out of his cage too but is still left to perform solo. Bobby now chows down on Nick’s prick as Justin fucks Corbin. Anthony is engrossed in the action but he is still not brought INTO the action. Notwithstanding the fact that he’s nice eye-candy, I wonder why he’s here. Suddenly we find Bobby in a sling as Nick prepares another anal assault. (Notice how many times I use the word “suddenly”? That’s due to the sometimes slapdash choppy editing. I wish the editor had taken more pains to cut for continuity. Ok, I know this is Justin’s dream and that dream imagery is not logical. But this is a film too and film requires a certain amount of it.) Nick’s dick slides slowly into Bobby’s anxious anus. He fucks him hard and deep until Bobby spurts sperm. We see Corbin coming on a guy in the sling who turns out to be Justin. Justin fires off a thick load.

Our dreamer wakes up to find himself smeared with spunk. Bobby is beside him in the bed. “And you thought this was just a dream,” he tells the sticky boy. “Is this the stuff that dreams are made of?” And so saying, he scoops up some of the spunk from Justin’s body and feeds it to him. The door to the bedroom opens. We see two guys with flashlights. They are Nick and Corbin. They come over and play in Justin’s sperm. I could have bought the ending of Justin waking up in bed with Bobby. But bringing in the other two for spunk-play is perhaps a bit too off the wall.

A Behind the scenes featurette lets us witness Jason Crew sitting down on Corbin’s cock, getting a longer fuck from Jonathan, and dildoing Jonathan’s ass preparatory to the fucking of it we saw in the feature. Some of which I think should have been included in the film itself. That is, if enough could be found around Jason’s chatter and clowning. It’s funny that Corbin and Jonathan make Jason take off his socks because they smell. In this longer fuck sequence when Jonathan is pounding Jason's ass in the time-honored missionary position, Jason calls out: “It feels so good I’m about to blow!” Now that I would definitely have left in.

Brad Benton is another performer who clowns around. He likes to make faces at the camera. It’s nice when Bobby has trouble with his condom and Brad puts it on for him before he sits down on Bobby’s throbber. And Nick is nice, making sure that Anthony is quite comfortable before he pile-drives his ass.

This is the first film from a new studio that seems to be starting off at the top of the line and promises much. Since Adonis was the beautiful man beloved by the goddess of love the name has become a synonym for a handsome man. The cast here certainly fulfills the studio’s name. It’s a super cast. There’s also some good sex. It had all the right ingredients but they just didn’t quite jell. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed the film and I’m sure others will as well. I’ll definitely watch it again, and I definitely want to see other Adonis films. I know you will to. Check it out.
