Roommates is a vignette-style short film from co-writers and co-directors Tana Lea and Xander Porn. Roommates is a stand-alone short film; however, the piece feels like it should belong in a more extended feature that explores the characters that are contained within the scene.

Roommates has a simple set-up, where the viewer is introduced to the characters and then the short film shifts to the sex, with a brief wrap-up at the end of the scene. In Roommates, Kendra (Kendra Sunderland) goes to the gym and while she is gone Tana (Tana Lea) gets it on with Kendra's roommate (Xander Corvus).

The set-up for the scene is serviceable. As previously stated, Roommates feels like a slice out of a larger feature movie, where the viewer is already familiar with the characters before this point. As a stand-alone piece, the plot is lacking. The viewer needs a better look into the three characters and their dynamics than what is presented here.

The majority of the short film is taken up by the sex scene with Tana Lea and Xander Corvus. Tana Lea and Xander Corvus both give excellent sexual performances. The two project great chemistry during the sex scene and the scene was well shot.

As long as you go into Roommates for the sex scene, you won't be disappointed. Tana Lea and Xander Corvus do an excellent job. However, the plot for the short film is underdeveloped. Unless the underdeveloped plot will ruin the short film, Roommates is well worth watching.

The edition of Roommates screened is the streaming and downloadable version available exclusively on Pornhub. Pornhub has done a nice job with their release of Roommates. Roommates was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1 letterboxed to 1.85:1 in 1080p. The image for Roommates looks beautiful free from any noticeable defects. The colors in the movie look great.

Roommates is presented with an English Stereo audio track. The audio for the film sounds excellent. The dialog is clear and easy to understand at all times, and there weren't any noticeable defects in the sound quality.

Pornhub hasn't included any extras for their release of Roommates.

Roommates is a nicely shot and enjoyable vignette-style short film. There isn't much to the story, but the sex scene is excellent. Viewers that like a heavy plot in their vignette-style porn may feel a little shorted by Roommates; however, the sex should make up for the shortcomings of the plot. Pornhub as done a great job with their streaming and download edition of Roommates.
