Ron Jeremey On The Loose 4: San Francisco Review

Preview Expectations: I've got to say, that I am a fan of Ron Jeremy, not so much as a pornstar, although he has been a consistent performer for many years, but more so for his personality and every man kind of quality to him, everyone knows who he is, but to this day he is as normal a guy as you would meet. He doesn't take himself too seriously, and in porn or anywhere else, that is an uncommon thing these days, and I for one respect that quality in him. This series is kind of a personal and sexual tour of different places with the Hedgehog as your personal tour guide. I'm not expecting a sexual work of art, but I'm hoping for an enjoyable reality tour with some fun and sex.

Initial Thoughts For what it tries to be, I think this feature is pretty good. Ron Jeremy is comical and entertaining as ever, and he even pokes his penis in a couple girls during the show. Ron goes around San Fran, talks to people, shows us some sites, does a few tricks, meets some couples and lets us watch them screw each other. The sex action is really pretty average, there isn't much sexually that stands out and really get's you going, but this disc offers some goofy and comical entertainment, which even in porn has some real worth to those that enjoy that sort of thing. On that merit, I think this disc is worth quite a bit, but the runtime is only around 90 minutes, and there is scant extras, that coupled with the average at best sex scenes, makes it more for the fans of Ron Jeremy than the mass public, but it's enjoyable anyway.

Technical Considerations: It's not too bad on the technical side, lighting and camera work could definately use a little improvement, as there are some shadowing issues and occasional bright spots, and the camera is occasionaly not where it would logically make sense for it to be. Picture quality is a bit pixely at times, but generally good, and the sound is decent except for the music drowning out Ron on his tour sometimes. It could have been better but it is acceptable.

Scene 1:Rachel Rotten and Rob Rotten

After we see some sites and Ron entertains us with his personability with the public for a while, he gets inside to interview the Rottens, and to his dissapointment, they are just gonna do each other and Ron just gets a little tease. Rachel is pretty darn hot, and has kind of a slight goth look, and Rob is just a breathing tattoo, I can deal with it, but some may be distracted by his entire body being covered with tats. In The End

There isn't a lot of meat here for this disc, the running time is 93 minutes and every extra combined doesn't top 10 minutes of playing time, and personally I don't count trailers and phone sex adds as valid extras, but I included them in that runtime. The sex is lackluster to be honest, it's just run of the mill average screwing. That in mind, for a pure Ron Jeremy fan, this is just 93 minutes of gold, he is funny and on target the whole time, and that is really what this feature is about more than the sex itself. For Ron Jeremy fans I highly recommend this one for rental or purchase, but if your not a Ron jeremy fan or if your looking for great sex, your going to be dissapointed here, and I don't really recommend rental or purchase in that case.
