Review:
“RolePlay” is a very good production from SunLust and Vivid that is both directed by and also stars adult superstar, Sunny Leone. The movie consists of five unrelated themed sequences, most of which are of a very good (or better) caliber in terms of the sex that they portray. Although Sunny only takes on girls in this release, her scenes still tend to be fairly hot, and she also has Breanne Benson and Rebecca Blue on-hand to handle the cock. One hindrance that this film has—and it can be a big one, depending on what’s important to the individual viewer—is that there are some serious resolution issues in places. I really hope that SunLust fixes this in their future releases because it is a recurrent problem.
In terms of the sex, Sunny is featured in three of the disc’s five scenes, with two of them being of the girl/girl variety and the other being a girl/girl/girl three-way in which she is a participant. In Scene One, Sunny is paired up with Alyssa Reece in an angel (Sunny) / devil (Alyssa) romp that occurs in a room featuring a red leather sofa and translucent white paneling. Fingers and tongues are on the menu here, as is some toy action in which Alyssa uses a red dildo / vibrator on Sunny, and Sunny returns the favor by working over Alyssa with a ribbed, glass-like dildo. Overall, this segment is in the good-to-very-good range. Scene Three brings together Ms. Leone with Daisy Marie—both of whom are maids who have been hired to clean a rich person’s sex toys. In terms of bonus materials and other options, this disc is a bit on the weak side. There is a “Photo Gallery”—a slideshow of “pretty-girl” shots and stills—and a “Behind the Scenes” featurette. This last item is a welcomed addition and runs about 9.5 minutes. [It should also be noted that some ads play upon hitting the “Play Movie” option in the Main Menu (not great), the scene selection menu comes up automatically after every scene (interesting idea), and—as noted—there are some fairly serious resolution issues in some places on the disc.]
All in all—and if you can get past the resolution issues—this is a very good production. The sex is hot, and the performers are generally attractive. Of course, one has to like girl-on-girl sex—as over half of the movie features this type of activity—and there isn’t any meaningful anal penetration here. Overall: I recommend renting it first—simply due to the low production values—otherwise, check it out.
