I guess it was inevitable that this streak of great porn that I have seen this year was going to come to something of an end, but with a great cast including Monica Sweetheart, Amanda Angel and the wonderful Mallory and Sabina, I really didn't expect it to be with Animal Trainer 6. Well, to be honest I am exaggerating a little. This is actually more than acceptable by any reasonable standard, as you can see from the scores above - it's just that there have been so many wonderful moments in recent Rocco movies that I was taking them for granted. This is hardly a massive fall from grace, in all fairness, just a slight slip in already high standards. Anyway, on with the sex...

Quite why Rocco should choose to pad out the running time on this release with a scene quite clearly shot some time ago is beyond me. This scene could easily have been shot a couple of years ago, if not more, with natural busted brunette Karma looking much more young and innocent (and more attractive - at least that is before Rocco has his way with her!) than she has in more recent productions. She first appeared with Rocco in TAS 6, so it could be as old as that.

In this vignette, Karma is one of the girls on hand when Renata, a slim and sexy-bodied brunette with a rather hard face, offers Rocco sex to get him to make her a good offer for her diner (looks like the theme restaurant in Pulp Fiction). The sex is pretty fiery - this woman reminds me of Vlasta AKA Katherine Count, and indeed I have wondered if they were one and the same since I saw this woman in Lass Mich Kommen (Maximum Perversum), a film that Karma makes a fleeting appearance in too, but I don't think so.

Anyway, we find that Karma has joined Renata and Rocco and he is much enamoured with her superb natural tits. Rocco gets Karma to suck his ass-fresh dick and then gives her a good fucking with added spanks to make her pale ass cheeks glow. Rocco proceeds to give her pussy a thorough reaming, taking her from behind as they stand, with some rough handling, spitting and just some really hard fucking that makes her blow her lips out at the end as if to say "Phew!"

Well, at least the hard sex was more in keeping with the Animal Trainer vibe, but like the preceding scene this one could just as easily have been in True Anal Stories, and has the added handicap of being shot in poor lighting conditions and with some modest picture quality. It also appears to have been edited quite sharply to fit in, but at least you get more on the DVD extra footage section.

One of the best parts of this whole movie is right at the end, in the outtakes that customarily accompany the end credits. It's a fascinating little snippet where Rocco and Jessica are fucking relatively gently and discussing, in Italian, what she likes. Mallory is watching and Rocco explains that Jessica was telling him she really likes the rough stuff. Mallory, who speaks very good English indeed, says she always likes it romantic - funny how much she clearly enjoys working with Rocco, then - and then Rocco grabs her and gets her to sit on Jessica's face. Rocco then has Mallory in stitches when he translates what Jessica has requested: that Mallory pees on her face! Hilarious, and very revealing too.

Overall
This is probably the most disappointing Rocco release that I have seen this year. It's very far from being a disaster, but I find it mildly annoying to have scenes from the archives, even if they are previously unseen, being used to pad out the running time, especially when Rocco is currently producing better stuff. Only the scene with Mallory, who was under-utilised, and Jessica is really memorable and as a whole it certainly does not hit the heights of Animal Trainer 4 or 5. There are plenty of good moments, but generally there is little to distinguish scenes here from other series. Naturally there are some fabulous girls - Jessica was a revelation, and of course Mallory, Sabina, Amanda and Monica are all wonderful - but there's just no way I can say that Rocco manages to consistently get the best out of them in this one, again with the Jessica/Mallory scene as a notable exception. More Mallory and Jessica please (the good news is that Jessica is to be in the soon-come Rocco Ravishes Prague 4 - excellent)!

DVD Comments
Evil Angel DVD means quality, and with the exception of some slightly suspect footage on the final scene, which is probably a source tape issue anyway, that is the case here. Sound is maybe a little muffled in parts, maybe not, but generally it's good enough. Menus are slickly presented in the usual manner with the choice of fetish menus, chapter menus and extras like photos and cast info being substantially backed up by a good helping of extra sex footage. Nice.
