Initial Expectations: Rocco almost always impresses me. I’m looking forward to this one!

Initial Reaction: Although the balance in the scenes didn’t always work for me, it’s still a hot fuck flick!

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty normal for Rocco, and a bit lower than what I expect overall from Evil Angel. The audio is pretty good. It has a couple minor balance problems and a few hollow areas, but most of the sex is nicely balanced. You can also hear a comment or two from Rocco behind the camera during the second scene that didn’t feel at all right for the scene. The video is also pretty good. It has just a hint of grain, which is consistent enough for Rocco that I suspect it might be there on purpose. There’s also more than a few shadows, and they occasionally interfere with the action. All told it’s better than most of what’s out there, but not quite as good as what I normally want from Evil Angel.

Menus: The main menu is extremely impressive and one of the nicest looking main menus I’ve seen from Evil Angel in a while even though it keeps the same style Evil Angel is so fond of. As usual the other menus also show some nice care, such as the chapter menu which lets you jump to a group of scenes based on a small clip and the names of the ladies in the scene and the fetish menu which lets you jump directly to sex acts such as male rimming, anal, and cumshots.

The Feature

Rocco’s Animal Trainer series keeps things simple. There’s normally a couple minutes of plot to set things up, but never anything that’s too involved or too long. It often has a bit of humor in it, but can also have a bit of a dark side. From then on it’s long sex scenes which aren’t afraid to get a little intense.

Scene 1 - Malicia Parker, Judy White, Max, Norbert White, Black Jack, Rico, Nico, Rumcajsz, Joe, and Rocco Siffredi

Rocco starts things out dealing with Malicia over a horse. She tells him that she has the best horse around for a million dollars, and then shows him Judy, dressed in black fetishwear and a mask pulling a carriage. They lead Judy around a bit before Malicia calls in the rest of the guys to show Rocco what’s so special about her “horse” to make it worth a million smackers. Judy’s mask is removed so she can suck cock easier and the guys go right to work fucking her pussy and stroking themselves around her. This is a hot scene! I like how it’s broken up between the gangbang for Judy and Rocco taking on the two girls, especially since the scene runs nearly fifty minutes. The girls share duties very well, and I like how they keep the sex acts broke up between them as well. It gives the scene a different feeling, and works well. I was a little disappointed that Malicia didn’t take it in the ass, but Judy does a fantastic job at it. This is a nicely done and hot scene that starts the feature off on the right foot.

Scene 2 - Sandy Style, Katy, and Franco Roccaforte

After touching up in the powder room, Sandy heads out onto the patio to have Franco deliver her a cup of coffee. Katy teases them topless from above, drawing Sandy up to the bedroom. This is a very good scene that will probably make it to very hot for many people. I love the start to this scene, as it’s fun, sexy, and you can tell that everybody’s enjoying themselves. The feeling keeps going until the anal, at which point it took a downturn for me. Sandy takes the A amazingly well, but Katy really held the scene back for me. She looks really lost through most of the scene, and mugs the camera when she gets involved and stares at it when she isn’t. It held what was on its way to becoming an excellent scene back for me, but was still quite enjoyable.

Scene 3 - Sindy, Mandy Bright, and Rocco Siffredi

Sindy starts things out in black fetishwear sitting on the shitter with an inflatable buttplug in her mouth which Rocco slowly inflates. They’re joined by Mandy, who sits on the edge of the tub and talks to Rocco a little before going over to play with Sindy. She licks and gropes her before taking off her mask so that Sindy can tongue her twat. Mandy brings over a strap-on and has Sindy suck it while she strokes Rocco before teaming up with Sindee to mouth Rocco’s meat. This scene really leaves me torn. Part of me loves it, as Rocco has excellent chemistry between each of the girls, and the girls have great chemistry with each other also. On the other hand, the balance wasn’t always there. Once again, once it got into the final fucking one of the girls seemed really left out, and it was even like Gabriel was afraid to capture too much of her diddling herself as she watched. I really wanted to see both Mandy getting fucked and Sindy playing with herself, and between that and Mandy taking the facial while Sindy stayed as far away as possible on the other end of the couch left this scene ending on a low note for me even after a great start.

Rocco: Animal Trainer 14 is a very good movie that just didn’t work for me in some places. On the plus side, Rocco has assembled a very nice cast and everybody really looks into it almost the entire time. The scenes are long, but are done well enough that I was drawn into them rather than looking at my watch every minute wondering just how long the scene was going to go on. On the negative side, some of Rocco’s sexual setups didn’t quite work for me. Part of me likes how he only had one girl in each scene take it in the ass, but once the anal got going good it seemed like the other girl was a little lost and felt left out. Rocco also has a bit of a primitive camera style, which I’ll admit often works for me, especially in his gonzo features as it adds a very human touch. Here it held the scenes back a little. Every scene, and especially the last scene, had me wanting a little different view a few times during the action, and the shadows interfered for me a little as well. That said, Rocco: Animal Trainer 14 is still a darn good movie! I don’t want anybody to think that these complaints interfered with me to the point that I was thrown out of the scenes. I never was. I just had that feeling or nagging thought of “Oh please do this or that” a few too many times, and by the last few moments of the movie, they’d piled up for me. Rocco: Animal Trainer 14 is a very enjoyable but slightly flawed fuck flick.

The Extra Stuff

In addition to the cast list by scenes and a bio of Rocco, filmographies are included for Judy White, Katy, Malicia Parker, Mandy Bright, Sandy Style, and Sindee. There’s also a great looking photo gallery with over forty snapshots, weblinks, and extra footage.

The extra footage lasts nearly thirty five minutes and is nicely broken down by scene. About four and a half minutes is from the first scene, seven from the second scene, and the remaining twenty three plus minutes is from the final scene. In each case there’s a little bit of the footage that stands out nicely. Most of the footage from the first two scenes feels like it was mostly cut for time, and the differences are small. The final scene, however has some great extra acts such as a bunch more oral and playing in the bathroom. You even get to see Rocco shoving Mandy’s head in the toilet and flushing it while they fuck, which although I’m sure will turn some people off I can’t help but admit that I actually liked it because Mandy was so into it she looked like she didn’t care at all. There’s also plenty more fucking around the couch, plenty of which Sindy gets involved in. It’s a great selection of extra footage, and definitely helps out the overall DVD. I think if the final scene would have been lengthened out by another fifteen minutes with some of the footage included here the feature would have come out much better for me.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most Evil Angel DVDs can be found online for between $18 and $30 with many stores offering them for around $20. If you’re a Rocco fan, this one should be right up your alley. There’s hot intense sex and long scenes. The technical aspects aren’t quite up to what I normally expect from Evil Angel, but they put some nice effort into the overall DVD.

Note to Evil Angel / Rocco Siffredi: A little more attention to the technical aspects would be very nice. It’s the main thing that held this one back for me.
