What's It About?: AT12 starts out with a long scene with Rocco and three girls in a mansion that is decorated in 18th Century European style. Rocco has Kelly, a homely faced blonde, suck an inflatable dildo, while Leyla, a dirty blonde, is tied up under glass coffee table and Drimla masturbates on sofa. There's ass-licking, pussy-to-mouth, girl-girl, and at least ten minutes of ass-to-mouth fucking, but there are three bits I like the most. First, Drimla gives Rocco a short but nice blowjob that gets Rocco really hard. Second, she goes from a gorgeous squatting vag position to reverse cowgirl (think: petite girl and Rocco's schlong). Third, Rocco leisurely fucks Kelly in the ass--I love it more when the speed of the action varies rather than just speed-of-light humping. We think the scene will end when Rocco shoots on the glass coffee table and the girls lap up the cum. But just when things seem to be wrapping up, seven guys enter the room. It's a blowbang finish with a bunch of oral cumshots and cum swapping, for those who have a fetish for that. Overall, a fairly good scene, although there are a few problems, such as Rocco's "Yes, nasty" utterings, questionable edits, and a slow buildup to the action. The second scene is supposed to be a photo shoot with blonde Liza and Black Diamond. Tolly Crystal, the late Mongolian actress who's way too skinny and wearing too much makeup, is the photographer. Veteran Eurostuds Franco Roccaforte and Alberto Rey try to get the girls to pose with a male inflatable doll, but eventually it ends up being a threeway girl scene featuring a face-mounted dildo and the anatomically correct doll. Eventually Franco, Alberto, and another guy join in, binding Tolly and Liza with some black PVC tape--with some interesting results. The barf-inducing moment of the video occurs when Franco squirts a bottle of what looks like baby oil into Black Diamond's tongue on his way to slicking up her body. He then does the same thing to Tolly and Liza while feeding them his cock. After that, the scene hits a monotonous stretch with a lot of vag action, anal, and a lot of ass-to-mouth. The facial setup is like the first scene: 7-8 guys waiting in the wings, jerking themselves like they're at a John T. Bone gangbang. Alberto does this standard double sprinkler pop, Franco dumps his load on Tolly's face, and then the girls take the anonymous loads from the circle jerk. What I like the most is Tolly rubbing spunk into Black Diamond's boobs then licking and sucking her now-glistening tits. The last scene is a more traditional gonzo scene with Rocco talking with Daphinie, who is the European equivalent of Kacey. She's joined by Fenny, a plain-loooking blonde. They go inside the house, which has the same decor as the first scene. Daphinie seems to be new to adult by her nervous responses to Rocco's advances and Fenny's tongue. From dildo flirting to pussy rubbing to a double BJ to a threeway, it's a 15-minute extended bit of foreplay . But then Rocco bows out before the fucking, making way for Denis Marti. From then on, it's all about anal: fingering with ATM, anal doggy, more ATM, analingus, and a good looking anal doggy and reverse cow with Daphinie. Unfortunately, I keep on wishing that it's Rocco who's plundering asses, not the relatively small Denis. Dude, Rocco, it's your movie--go get some! What I liked: There's something for almost everyone: If you like ass-to-mouth, AT12's got plenty of it. If you like sperm baths, although it doesn't approach GGG levels, there's a lot of cum. If you like group scenes, the endings of the first two scenes will please you. And, of course, there are no American performers to be found; Eurobabe lovers rejoice! The picture quality is excellent: Read further for my comments on the new transfer. But regardless of how it was done technically, if you look at this video compared to any other Rocco Siffredi production, the other stuff looks like it was shot on an old VHS camcorder compared to the new transfer. What I didn't like: Too many tattoos: It used to be that you could count on Eurobabes to be free of fake tits and tattoos. While they still mostly are implant free, more and more have various tats that mar their otherwise perfect bodies. It is really disappointing to see the cute and innocent Daphinie with a tribal tattoo and an elaborate design on the back of her hand. Somehow, that ruins the illusion of innocence, which would have really been mind blowing combined with the nastiness of this series. Inconsistent lighting: Although the transfer quality of Animal Trainer 12 is quite a bit better than any of his previous videos, it's irritating to see such poor lighting at times. One minute, the action is bright, the next it's dim and obscured. It's not as bad as I've seen when no lighting is used, but some more focused lighting when doing up-and-under shots, for example, would have helped out a lot. The Trainer has been tamed: No DP?!?! What's up with that? (well, there's a DP with a dildo in the additional footage, but...) Sure, there's a lot of oral cumshots, cum swapping, and ATM (and let's not forget the baby oil in the mouth bit), but it's less aggressive and less nasty than I was expecting. To be clear, it's not a slouch vid, it's just that it barely rates a title like "Animal Trainer." DVD Extras: No surprises here...standard Evil Angel extras for Rocco...fetish menu, picture gallery, bios, etc. And of course, 30 minutes of additional sex footage equally as good as the stuff that did make the VHS cut. Look forward to more of Rocco from the first scene and more of the lovely Daphinie in the bonus video. A/V Quality: While it still doesn't measure up to the best picture quality out there, I can say confidently that this is the best-looking Rocco video I've ever seen. Unlike previous tapes and DVDs, the color is more properly saturated and much crisper. According to Evil Angel, this is the first of his videos transferred from PAL Betacam (analog) to NTSC Betacam in Europe, under the supervision of Rocco's editor. This has made a huge difference in the product we see in the States. As a comparison, here is a full-resolution screenshot from Rocco: Animal Trainer 6, which was converted from PAL in the U.S., and one from Rocco: Animal Trainer 12. Since Rocco shoots with DV camera, hopefully the conversion from PAL to NTSC can be done digitally and eliminate the analog to analog conversion. Still, it's a night and day improvement! The Last Word: IMHO, Animal Trainer 12 is not Rocco's best, especially since he's only in about half of the movie and because the sex is relatively tame (compared to say, Joey Silvera or Jules Jordan). But it's definitely the best looking Rocco DVD that we've ever seen, and his fans should pick up this disc just to check out the new transfer.
