The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well done, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. There's some nice care to the lighting and the picture has just a slight touch of grain to give it a bit of an artistic feel.

Menus: The main menu works through a few stills before settling in on part of the cover still, another still, and a few clips from the movie for an okay first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene, the name of the performer, and a chapter number that doesn't correspond to the chapter numbers in the movie.

The Feature

Riley Steele: Perfect Pet is a pretty good fuck flick. The openings keep the pet theme going nicely and brings some nice lighter humor with it along with a touch of sexiness. Riley does a great job leading the cast, and puts out three nicely done scenes that should please her fans. I think her opening scene with Erik Everhard was my favorite, but her final scene with Dakoda Brookes and Danny Mountain just didn't seem like it could keep up with the rest of the movie. Robby D. does a nice job behind the camera, as usual, and delivers the scenes in a straightforward manner with a slight touch of artistic style. Riley Steele: Perfect Pet is a sexy little movie that works pretty well.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery can be viewed either manually or as a slide show lasting a little over four minutes with about six seconds per very nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also weblinks, a behind the scenes featurette, and cumshot recaps.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts just under thirteen minutes and features Shay Jordan behind the camera. Shay starts out chatting with Riley about working with Everhard before getting in a little action. They move outside where Shawna has a few words before coming in where Dakoda and Danny have a little pre-scene fun. There's a little chat with Danny and Nika before they shoot their scene as well as some fluffer time. Shay chats with Jerry before he shoots his scene with Britney before she turns in a little extra show. This is a fun little behind the scenes featurette. There's some nice eye candy as well as plenty of fun and personality. This is a nice featurette that adds to the overall DVD.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. Aim for the low end here. The movie's pretty good, but there isn't a lot of variety and I'm not sure how much replay value it's going to have. The technical aspects and extras show a bit of effort and care and definitely help out the overall DVD a bit. This is a pretty good movie on a DVD showing nice care.
