Riding the Riviera Review

Riding The Riviera is unquestionably top-shelf smut, at least in my book. now superficially, it could make you think “Private”, what with the cast of European babes (some of them VERY notable participants in many a Private production) and the stunning location, but you’ll soon discover it doesn’t dwell on its scenery at all, dispenses utterly with plot, and best of all, never, ever short-changes the viewer with truncated, over-edited sex scenes.

on the other hand, it DOES have great looking women who appear to really enjoy their work, guys committed to pleasuring -- not humiliating -- them, and a nice shuffle of B/G and 2 on 1 action (one with 2 girls, another with 2 guys), peppered with plenty of fun, super-erotic anal hijinks (a rapidly vanishing thing in the adult film landscape of today). so the comparison is apt both for its similarities as well as its differences.

I love sex, AND sex scenes, where the pleasure is clearly shared, the sexual give and take reciprocal, and RTR gets a whole lot right compared to most fare in this regard. one of my favorite things; there’s LOTS of guys licking girls in this one, and trust me, it’s anything but the perfunctory spit and quick shine you see in so much American smut these days (if indeed you’re lucky enough to get even that much of a demonstration).

the prime example of this – but, happily, far from the only one -- is the dangerously sandy beach tryst (hey, at least it’s a baby-powdery-white-talc-sand kind of beach) between raven-haired stunner Mya Diamond and Greg Centauro. if you’re a Mya doubter -- and I’d been one pretty consistently -- or no better than on the fence about her, well, let’s just say you probably need to give this scene a chance before passing final judgment. opinions must range widely on Mya’s face. that was kind of the rub for me. I mean, she’s obviously striking, maybe even jarringly exotic looking; her straight dark hair, flawless skin, and the Asian cast to the eyes are truly arresting, but on a face of such extreme angularity and with such longish-ness of jaw, I’d probably allow for the word “unusual”, perhaps even “strange”. but then, of course, consider her body as well, which simply won’t permit ANY kind of disagreement.

lean and athletic, but also wonderfully fleshy and curvy in ALL the right places, Mya possesses a fantastically smooth and firm, yet gloriously rounded backside, and unquestionably one of the most perfect natural chests in all the biz (quite possibly ever - each individual breast legitimately warranting the same glowing description as her delectable butt), and it’s all encased by that perfect smooth skin. so overall, she’s a rather devastating creature.

it’s clear enough, anyhow, that Centauro finds her so, and he emerges from the water to pay all appropriate homage with lips, tongue, and nose. when it’s this well captured, it’s legitimate to ask the question: does porn get better than this? languorous, loving, creative, inspired; these words all apply to the way he applies himself to orally pleasuring Mya. and she is digging it big time. her BJ is every bit as hot, and in due time, his rim job on her -- following a stretch of torrid intercourse in a few positions – to prep her for the sensational anal boffing that carries the scene to its climax, raises the temperature right throught the roof, and lifts things into memorable territory, with great replay value to boot.

Centauro escorts her to a big piece of driftwood, really a bleached-out remnant of tree washed up in the surf and, leaning her forward into a comfortable position where she can support herself while offering him full access to her sweet butt (can you say TEMPTATION, folks???!!!), the tongue fun begins in earnest. here again, there’s no rush at all, and it’s wondrously well shot (indeed, as the whole film is) as he lavishes appropriately worshipful attention on her backside, admiring and exploring her buns, but inexorably drawn to their divide, and you can almost share his wonder at the taut, tawny, perfect treasure he discovers between those fine cheeks. he knows how lucky he is, though he almost appears to be drugged by the fineness and extravagance of her bounty. there’s little doubt that the smorgasbord of sights, scents, flavors, and textures he encounters back there would make for a powerful enchantment on anyone. as his intoxication threatens to overwhelm him, he accepts the inevitable, gracefully, gratefully surrendering (who wouldn’t !??), and becoming a total slave to her ass; the more he licks, sniffs, probes, and swirls, the more he wants nothing EXCEPT TO KEEP ON DOING MORE OF THE SAME. it’s freaking awesome. this scene has more than a few of those rare moments that make you think, maybe even say to yourself, YEEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!, but this one really stands out.

of course there are other scenes, and a couple of match Mya and Greg’s. the first 2 on 1 affair, with Niki Blond and Cristina Bella mauling David Perry poolside, is one of those rare 2 on 1 scenes that really works for me. both girls look just fantastic, which is a great place to start, but when you’re dealing with hottie cockhounds like these 2, you’re waaaaaaaaaaay ahead of the game. the action, while as hot as the sun overhead, is varied but never frenetic. when something works, and pretty much everything works like crazy, you go with the flow for a while. and that’s how this one goes. both girls do anal, but the clear highlights were Cristina’s superb cowgirl anal (that is one heckuva butt and there's some luscious -- but not extreme -- gaping) and some of the shared BJ stuff.

also notable; lovely, slim, brunette Andy Brown is featured in a great IR coupling which has a lot of the same chemistry displayed in the Mya scene, though it's indoors. lotsa oral performed on this hottie, and she too ultimately takes her very well-endowed partner right between those cheeks. excellent scene.

the closer, with Judy White taking on 2 guys, is okay, but the girl, while attractive, is the least appealing female of the bunch, and I tend to not go much for 2 guys obscuring the girl. no anal here, either. acceptable scene, though uninspired, particularly compared with such thoroughly smokin' competition.
