Riders (Titan) Review

Motorcycles, bicycles, and asses—that’s what they ride here. But compared to the work this studio can do, the film is uninspired and uninspiring. It appears to be a cranked-out effort on the part of all concerned; and when a hot scene does appear, they fuck it up.

It begins with two guys on a bicycle: Bobby Williams, who at 23 is our token twink, and—as we shall discover at film’s end—Joey Russo. Bobby says he has to pee and stops off at a bar run by Cliff Rhodes. After a surly greeting from Cliff, Bobby heads to the john. Dylan West follows. As Bobby busies himself at the urinal, Dylan sits on one of the commodes and pulls out a magnificent uncut piece of meat which he strokes to full erection. It definitely gets Bobby’s attention when he sees it reflected in the mirror above the sink. Dylan rises and moves toward Bobby preceded by that stiff cock. Bobby just stands there as Dylan rubs that straining member in the crack of his jeans. Dylan turns Bobby around and removes his shirt. The kid falls to his knees and engulfs Dylan’s luscious man-meat. Bobby removes his trousers, revealing his own hardening dick, and continues to deep-throat Dylan’s. Dylan also goes down on Bobby before both stand to jack off onto one another. But—it ain’t over yet. Dylan literally has the kid over a barrel and is about to fuck him when—DAMN IT TO HELL! —we cut to the bar where Cliff and his pal, Miguel Bravo, turned on by the noises from the john start to make out. (I hate this. I really hate it when I get involved in a scene and some fool editor trying to be artsy-farty cuts away to another scene and then continues to jerk me back and forth between the two! I’m then unable to get involved in either one. If Titan is trying to disguise the fact that they have a rather weak effort with this one, crosscutting is only guaranteed to make matters worse.)

When we finally make it back to the john, Dylan is prepping Bobby’s ass. Yet before we see them fuck, it’s back to the bar to watch Cliff preparing Miguel by eating out his ass. WHOOSH! The john again. Dylan’s dick makes its triumphal entry into Bobby’s butt. (I think it’s nice that they keep a bottle of ‘Pjur Eros’ lube in this john. Still better that it can even be found in deserted buildings, as in the final scene. And whenever it appears it’s always given a close-up. Oh, well, they say it pays to advertise—and it really is good stuff.) Bobby’s cock looks as though it may explode as Dylan’s huge cock drives into him. Bobby likes it! But it’s soon back to the bar where…

Cliff is lubing up to fuck Miguel. And then it’s….back to the john, where Bobby is now getting a missionary conversion. When they cum, it’s back to the bar where Miguel is sitting down on Cliff’s cock.

Two motorcyclists zip by the jogging Ben Jakks. They are the stunningly handsome Kent Larson and Mathieu Costa. Kent is quite a hunk, but Mathieu doesn’t do much for me. As Mathieu is blowing him, Kent applies some wicked-looking clamps to Mathieu’s tits. It’s time for a commercial, and we are given a close-up of a bottle of Pjur Eros prior to Kent fucking Mathieu’s ass. Kent never removes his jock when he is getting sucked, fucking, or getting fucked. However, as a prelude to his getting fucked, we have another close-up of Pjur Eros. (Enough already!) Ironically but not surprisingly seeing how this film has been so far, there is another version of this scene in the Bonus section that is actually better than this one.

It’s time now to join jogger Ben Jakes who is doing push ups when the-lust-of my-life, Joey Russo, comes on the scene. They cruise one another and Ben lures Joey down into a deserted building. It’s a darkened setting that allows Titan to show the unrivaled technical skills at their command. The lighting and videography are masterful. This is now the Titan we have come to know and love. Joey goes down on Ben. He gags on the big dick but that doesn’t deter our Joey in the slightest. Ben sucks Joey, too, but not with equal enthusiasm. Indeed Ben seems at times almost to be phoning in his performance. Joey on the other hand is a mass of energy with a perpetual hard-on, even when Ben rams that big dick up his ass. This is the film’s best scene and very nearly worth waiting for. Although for sexual heat, the Williams/West scene would have surpassed it if it had not been fucked up with choppy editing.

BONUS

There is the “ADDITIONAL SCENE” mentioned above which is basically an extension of the Kent/Mathieu scene. Kent sucks Mathieu and sits down on his cock. As stated above, it’s hotter than the one chosen. (Another inept decision of the editor.) It ends with Kent eating cum!
CAST INTERVIEWS: Cliff & Miguel, Bobby & Dylan, Kent & Mathieu. Cliff seemed concerned that people might think he was as nasty as he appeared in the film. Miguel said the thing he likes best about filming is the fluffing—something he proves in that section. Bobby tells of having sex with a marine on a flight to Hawaii, and Dylan tells of getting a hand job during a performance of Aida at the Metropolitan Opera.
BRIAN MILL’S PHOTOSHOOT which has always been a highlight for me seemed almost perfunctory.

I take no pleasure in giving a bad or lukewarm review. As a hardened Titan fan (no pun intended) I hold them to a higher standard than most. Knowing what they can do and what they did here, I can only feel let down.
