Initial Expectations: I've been impressed by a lot I've seen from Wicked lately. I'm looking forward to this one.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice a single background noise. The video is very well presented in anamorphic widescreen, and also shows some very nice care. There's just a hint of grain and the camera work is smooth with some very nice attention put into the lighting. This is a very nice looking and sounding release.

Music: The music is very well done. It's nicely balanced with the rest of the audio and changes in style from scene to scene. There's some nice care here and it definitely helps out the overall movie.

Menus: The main menu is okay and blends the boxcover with a bit of action from the movie for a decent first impression. The chapter menu starts out with a nice style, but then sadly drops near mediocrity by just giving a clip of each scene and a scene number for making a selection.

The Feature

Reflexxxions keeps things fairly simple. The focus here is on sex and style, and the scenes are nicely connected with mirrors to lead from scene to scene.

Scene 1 – Julia Ann and Randy Spears

Julia starts out in a twenties style scene wearing a short blonde wig with a black bra, stockings, panties, garter belt, and hat looking smoking hot as Randy walks in wearing a white wifebeater with matching brown pants and hat smoking a cigarette and checking her out. He drops down to tongue her twat as they throw their hats aside, and keeps it going with a little added finger play as Julia lies back on the bed. She sucks his cock in return before letting him fuck her from behind, and then lies back on the bed for him to spoon her. Julia even gives up her sweet ass reverse cowgirl style before Randy sucks her toes and pops on her stocking-clad feet. He moves back in to snuggle before Julia gets up to admire herself in the mirror and clean up.

I couldn't help but like this scene right from the start. I love the style with Julia's outfit and wig, and the sepia toned video with the old gumshoe style feel just seemed cool as heck to me. Of course there's some very nice chemistry between Julia and Randy and they keep the action going very well, which let the scene continue with the great feeling it started with, and the camera work is also nicely done. This is a hot scene with some very nice style to it, and easily my favorite scene in the movie.

Scene 2 – Delilah Strong and Tyler Knight

As Julia admires herself, the picture changes to Tyler admiring Delilah as she sits back in a chair wearing a little black lingerie enjoying a smoke. He moves in to kiss her and admire her tits with his mouth before moving down to lick her pussy. Delilah sucks his cock in return and gives Tyler plenty of throat as well as a little titty fucking before riding him cowgirl style in the chair. He moves on to fuck her bow and arrow style with Delilah in the chair before letting her have it from behind. Finally Tyler lets Delilah get down for a nice facial finish before he checks himself out in the mirror and the scene moves on.

This is another very nice scene. Both Tyler and Delilah look great, and once again there's great chemistry and some very nice style. The chemistry is very nice once again, and the scene moves along with a nice pace as well as a great artistic feel. This is another very nice scene.

Scene 3 – Lexi Belle, Eric Masterson, and Steven St Croix

Lexi lays back in Victorian dress and a powdered wig as Eric and Steven, in similar dress, worship her. Eric moves in to lick her pussy as she sucks Steven before letting Steven take Lexi doggie style as she sucks Eric. Lexi gives Steven a little more head as she rides Eric cowgirl style before letting Steven take her bow and arrow style. Finally Eric pops on her face and Steven pops on her pussy.

This scene just didn't do much for me. The style is nicely done, but there just isn't as much substance here as in the other scenes. It moves along at a decent pace, but the Victorian theme and keeping the action limited to a couch in a garden just didn't do anything for me. I just couldn't get into this scene, and it ended up as the weakest scene in the movie because of it.

Scene 4 – Julia Ann, Chris Cannon, Eric Masterson, Evan Stone, and Marcus London

Julia dances around in a glass peep show booth with a few holes in it before a cock pops through one of the holes. She works it over with her mouth and hand, and before long she has cocks from Chris, Evan, Marcus, and Eric popping through that she sucks and strokes. Finally the guys pop through and around the holes for her.

This is another scene that just didn't do much for me. Julia does a nice job working her way around to suck and stroke the cocks, and takes some nice facial as well. I also like her lingerie and the glass box glory hole blow bang feel gave the scene an artistic edge that I couldn't help but appreciate. The problem for me is that I'm just not a big fan of oral sex scenes and blow bangs. Although this scene does separate itself from the average blow bang with a little artistic style, Julia being in a glass cube, and plenty of black and white footage, it's never enough to get me past the blow bang feel. Although I'm sure a lot of people will really like this scene, I can't help but admit that I'm not one of them.

Scene 5 – Abbey Brookes, Fayth DeLuca, and Riley Evans

Abby, Fayth, and Riley start out the penultimate scene naked except for gold masks with one laying back on a couch, one admiring herself in a mirror and one staring into space. They come together on the one on the couch with plenty of caressing that turns into fingering before the masks come off so they can finger their way around each other. They tongue their way around a bit before a pair of gold vibrators come out for them to fuck each other with. They mix things up a bit fucking each other in different positions with the toys before finally fucking themselves and one of them heading back to look in the mirror as their gold masks reappear.

This is an okay scene. The girls are all gorgeous and they get into each other pretty well. That said, masks never do much for me and started this scene off very cool because of them. The action picks up pretty good, but I never had a feeling of who was getting into who the most because the girls looked so similar to each other. Yes, this is a bit of a turn-on and I can't complain about that too much, but it still made it so that I couldn't get into the scene too much. This is a decent scene that I can't help but think will work for others better than it did for me.

Scene 6 – Julia Ann and Justice Young

Julia starts out the final scene touching up her lipstick in the mirror before scribbling on it to try anything once wearing a burgundy pleated skirt, black stockings and mesh gloves, and cut off white and black wifebeaters. She makes her way to a bed where rocker Justice is waiting and sits on his lap with a kiss before laying back and opening her legs so he can tongue and finger her. She kisses her way around his chest as she makes her way down to suck his cock before laying back so Justice can fuck her missionary style. Julia also lets him fuck her doggie style before they play with each other and he pops on her face.

This is a pretty good final scene. As always, Julia Ann looks fantastic and puts out some very nice energy and vocals. Justice's rough looks nicely add another layer of depth to the movie, and Julia looks as natural in the rock groupie outfit as she does in the classy lingerie that she starts the movie with. This is a nice end for the movie.

In a recent e-mail about her fan club, Julia Ann said that Reflexxxions might be her last movie. If so, she's going out with plenty of style. The movie moves nicely through the ages with the scenes working into each other through the mirrors. Julia's opening anal scene with Randy was easily my favorite, but Delilah's taking on Tyler Knight was almost as hot. The other scenes have their ups and downs, but overall the movie is well above average and very nicely blends style with substance as the camera work is very nicely done and the art never gets in the way of the sex. The blow bang and Victorian scenes each fell a bit short for me, but in both cases I couldn't help but feel like it was because the scenes weren't my particular thing rather than anything the cast or crew did. Reflexxxions is a hot and stylish release that worked well for me as a whole despite a couple scenes falling a bit short.

The Extra Stuff

Star photo galleries are included for the entire female cast, lasting between about two and two and a half minutes, as well as a main production gallery lasting nearly four minutes. In each case you get about seven seconds per good looking snapshot. Star stats are included for Julia Ann, Abbe Brooks, Lexi Belle, and Riley Evans, and give you a little personal information, a Wicked filmography, a few photos, and a link to the star's scene. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, a bonus scene, internet information, and the usual Wicked filler extras.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty three minutes in anamorphic widescreen featuring Mark Stone behind the camera. Mark starts out chatting with Fayth about her getting started with porn before chatting with Abbey about her being a girl – girl expert. He also talks with Riley about being a little bit new and how she got into the business before Francois works with the girls on the scene. The amazingly lovely Julia Ann chats with Mark next about the movie and working with Justice, who she hasn't worked with before, before shooting her scene with him. Delilah Strong gives Mark a little personal information before shooting her scene with Tyler. Julia returns for a little fun with Randy and to shoot their scene before moving into the Victorian era where Francois has a little fun. Lexi also chats a bit about liking to dominate guys before shooting her scene. Julia returns again and hangs out with Francois and the guys before her blow bang scene, and Francois even gets a little fun thanks to Evan Stone before they shoot the scene. Finally, Francois and Evan share a few words. This is a nice behind the scenes featurette with Mark Stone nicely bringing out plenty of personality from the girls (as he always seems to do). There's some nice time spent capturing the movie being shot, and you get some nice personality from Francois as well. There's some good humor mixed in, and it's all balanced very nicely. This is an enjoyable behind the scenes featurette.

Bonus Scene – Julia Ann and Tommy Gunn

The bonus scene comes from Time After Time and is presented in non-anamorphic widescreen as opposed to its anamorphic widescreen original format. Julia starts out sucking and stroking Tommy as he lays back on a bed before laying back and letting him tongue her twat in return. He comes up to spoon her before fucking her missionary style, and then finishes up popping around her bush with Julia stroking out the last little bit.

This is a very nice little scene. As always Julia looks great, and there's very nice chemistry between her and Tommy. The scene is definitely on the short side and could have really used another position and a little time showing the position changes, but the romantic feeling of the scene is hard to beat. This is a nice little scene that makes me wish it had been a much bigger scene.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Wicked's DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with a few stores offering them at the low end. At the low end, this one's a good buy. The action has a nice blend of sex and style, and mixes things up nicely. The technical aspects are nicely done as well, and there's a bit of effort put into the extras. This is a well done release that's well worth checking out for Julia Ann's fans as well as fans of sex with style.

Note to Wicked: Nice job here. I hope in the future you keep the anamorphic presentation for your bonus scenes if it was used for the original presentation.
