Synopsis:
Real Life Twins volume 1 is an amateur adult film that has no true structure to it. It is just a long chain of sexual activities featuring two very good looking Russian twin sisters.

Audio/Video:
Real Life Twins volume 1 is presented with an English/Russian 2.0 Linear PCM mono track, which works well for the material being presented in the film. As this is an amateur production, a stereo track would be wasted as it doesn't appear that they had the necessary equipment to create one anyway. The audio is raw in nature, you can hear background noise in all of the scenes, people talking off camera and the like. The only issue that I had with the audio, is there are moments during the film where it cuts out completely, which was rather distracting. During the film, both English and Russian are spoken at times. Shot at Home hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the feature film.

Real Life Twins volume 1 is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The video quality is in rather poor shape on the disc, the film is riddled with compression artifacts. The color levels are also on the light side, all of this wouldn't be too bad alone, but in addition to these problems, there are portions of the film where the bit rate is too low causing large pixels to be present on the screen. Given the short run time of the film, there is no reason for the bit rate to have been set too low, I hope that Shot at Home fixes this problem on future releases.

Special Features:
The only extra contained on the disc are previews for Sabina Shared by a Couple Volume 2, Elle Ass Abused Mom Volume 1, Double Date volume 1, Outdoor Whores Vanessa Volume 3, Korin the Sweetest Swede Volume 1, and Lost Footage: Brandy & Lara Volume 1.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with simplistic, but functional, non-animated menus with no music. There are six chapters available from the main menu, along with being the only chapters available within the feature film itself as well. They are identified by a still frame from the portion of the film that they go to. There is a time code for the feature film encoded on the disc. Shot at Home has watermarked the disc with their name in small letters in a corner of the display picture. I don't like the practice of watermarking films as I feel it detracts from the film. Instead of just being in a constant place, the watermark goes from the bottom right corner of the screen, to the upper right corner of the screen half way through the film. When it was in the bottom right corner, it might not be as obvious to all viewers since many are used to television channels watermarking their broadcasts now, but it becomes more obvious when it is moved to the upper right corner as that isn't a standard watermarking position. I hope that Shot at Home reconsiders their watermark and hopefully removes it for future releases.

General Review:
Real Life Twins volume 1 is an amateur film and it shows. The camera wires are sometimes visible in the shots and discussions can be heard on the audio track. The shots aren't always perfect but overall, it makes for a fun looking film with a relaxed feeling to it. I did get the feeling that the film was more planned out than it appears to look, just from the way that everything happens in the film. There is a nice wide use of various locations in the film. The beginning when they are in the car is especially fun to watch.

The cast is good looking, especially the Russian twins. The male cast looks good as well. The participants are obviously having fun while making the film and the mood throughout is light-hearted. The participation of Terry in the final scene seemed a little odd though, as he really didn't fit in. And you can call me sick and twisted, but I was disappointed that the twins never did anything with each other sexually. I kept finding myself wishing that they did at least a little together, even if it wasn't much. But they kept space between them even while the sex was going on for the most part.

The sex scenes are tame and nothing really nasty is shown in them. There are a few nastier acts, like anilingus, presented in the film, but they are done in a light manner. What makes the scenes work so well is the atmosphere created in them. At no time does anyone look uncomfortable with what they are doing nor does it ever look like anyone is in pain. Couples viewers should have no problem with the sex presented here but viewers looking for nastier sex will probably be disappointed with what is being offered here.

The sex scenes are set-up differently in this film than any other adult film that I have seen before. They all run together, even when the scenes change location. You also never get the feeling that the scene before truly ended. Several of the mini-scenes have no cum shots to end them. And the ones that do, until the final one, continue on after the cum shot. The end result is a fun film to watch that is rather different from anything else that I have seen. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal sex with pussy fingering, hand jobs, pussy eating, feet, anal fingering, female masturbation, blow jobs, and anilingus. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used anywhere in the film.

Scene Synopsis:
All of the scenes run together in the movie, I've given them break points and designated another scene where it feels natural without ending up with too many scenes in the synopsis.

Parting Thoughts:
Although the audio and video quality of the movie leave something to be desired and a watermark is present on the disc, Real Life Twins Volume 1 is a very fun amateur adult film. The cast is obviously having fun at all times and the lack of structure is a nice break from standard adult films. The sex is on the light side, so viewers that require nasty sex will be disappointed in the sex present and there is no story, so viewers that like a plot with their porn may want to pass on the title. If the title sounds good to you, I'd suggest picking it up, just don't pay too much due to the video quality problems.
