The First Word: This multi-ethnic 'melting pot' edition of RSM is trademark Real Sex Magazine, but fairly average for the series.

What's It About?:   The format of this series is pretty simple: In each scene Bill Witrock spends a few minutes interviewing a girl who's generally new to the business, has her undress and pose a bit, and then there's a cut to the sex scene.

The first girl in this edition is Sally, an 18-year old, slim, short-haired blonde from Thousand Oaks, California.  She's got nice natural tits, but she's got a bit of a toothy grin.  After the interview and stripdown, the scene begins with a lightning fast introduction between Sally and Jay Ashley.  Within ten seconds, she's taken down his pants and sucking on his already hard cock.  After a very, very timid blowjob, Jay parts her nether lips and licks her deeply for a few moments, and then they start to fuck.  Although the majority of this scene is the two of them fucking, it seems more of an exercise in getting him off, much like a hooker would do to a john -- at least that's how it came across to me.  There's so much fucking that after about the fourth position change, you're looking at your watch and wondering when the pop shot will come.  Mercifully, after about 20 minutes Jay cums on her tits.

Seduction is a black girl with hair to match her smooth mocha skin.  This 19-year old from Palmdale, CA has large, natural tits, furry and untrimmed box, and a rather atypical small booty.  This is her first time on video, and her first experience with a white guy (Chris Cannon).  It's a little different to see an interracial scene that is a white guy/black girl instead of the other way around.  It's a rather ho-hum scene without much passion, and ends with a "oh you came on my face...I'm not going to open my eyes, breathe, or talk" facial.

What I liked: Natural bodies and fresh girls:  I like the Real Sex Magazine series because you'll very rarely find a surgically enhanced girl -- the series has been very consistent in getting mostly girls less than 21-years old, petite, and good looking.  I wouldn't call any of these girls bombshells or even gorgeous, but at least they are all natural and fresh.  And unlike other series out there with new talent, they don't involve ugly men who insist on performing themselves or extreme/degrading hardcore acts.  This series is about as vanilla as you can get, and it really fits with the girls that Bill Witrock brings before his camera.

What I didn't like: Mandatory preview and compliance notices: Having to sit through about a minute of compliance notes and a Real Sex Magazine advertisement before getting to the main menu is not cool.  I don't mind sitting through them the first time, but not being able to skip over them is irritating.

DVD Extras: This is almost as bare-boned as DVDs come:  there's only a small photo gallery as the only real extra.  The biographies are word-for-word copies from the back of the box.  Disappointing...

A/V Quality: I've been watching the Real Sex Magazine series since Volume 1, and I can say that the audio and video are pretty much the same now as it was in the beginning.  That's not to say the quality is bad -- it's actually pretty good for a video of this type.  The digital video is very clean and crisp, although I find that RSM doesn't have as vivid an image as I'd like -- most of the bright colors are muted to the point that they appear somewhat dull.  The audio occasionally suffers from some reverb (probably due to the bedroom that Wild Bill always uses in his videos).  I think the lack of a music soundtrack during sex is actually a negative, since you can hear the squeak of every bed spring, the hum of the lights, and so on in addition to the action.

The Last Word: I guess in the grand scheme of porn, this volume is definitely above average, but in terms of other RSM installments that I've seen, it's not one of the better ones.  None of the girls here were stunningly beautiful or particularly hot in the sack.  On the other hand, the quality of talent, format, and action, minute-for-minute, is a lot better than most of the other popular series, so I'll give this volume a slight thumbs up.  Rent it if you can, but look to some of the better volumes for your purchase dollars.
