NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: Homemade movies and good technical aspects rarely go together. For this one, however, they're pretty good and even better than a lot of professional stuff I've watched. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although there are a couple minor balance problems and background noises they never really interfere with the action. The video is also pretty good. There's a touch of pixelation, but it comes off more like having well done film grain than a problem with the video. The lighting is done well with a few minor shadows, flashes, and bright spots, and there's also a little minor camera motion. All that said, for a home movie this one looks and sounds great!

Watermark Warning: Although I don’t really care about watermarks too much, I mention it here because I know that many do. I don’t particularly like them, but Shot at Home makes them bearable by keeping theirs very small and stationary in the lower right corner so it’s easy to filter out.

Menus: The main menu nicely keeps with the standard Shot at Home feel with a still from the movie and the choices. The chapter menu is pretty basic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

Misty and Minx are brunettes with nicely natural bodies, pierced nipples, and a few tattoos. Scene 1 – Misty and Minx

Scene 2 - Misty and Minx

Minx starts out the second scene sitting on Misty's lap and kissing her passionately. Scene 3 - Misty and Minx

Misty and Minx start out their final scene with a little sixty-nining as Minx sits back against a chair. The camera captures it very well, and I don't think there was a single point where I wanted a different angle. This is yet another winner of a scene, and ends the movie just as strongly as it began.

Misty Fucks Minx – Again! is a fantastic homemade girl – girl movie. The girls both have a great natural look to them as well as a wild side that's hinted at by their (mostly) tasteful tattoos and piercings. There's plenty of smiles and kissing throughout the entire movie, and the scenes all move at a natural pace with camera work that seems like somebody knows what they're doing behind it rather than just having picked it up on clearance at Mal-Wart. No, the action never gets nasty or anything like that, but that's part of what made this one such a welcome relief to me. It's all about play and pleasure, and having the camera there just seems to make it a little more playful for both girls because now they know they're showing off for somebody else. Misty Fucks Minx – Again! is easily one of the best girl – girl movies I've had the pleasure to watch, and one that I can't help but highly recommend to all fans of girl – girl action.

Currently, most DVDs can be found for about $20 at Shot at Home’s website. This one's well worth the money if you're a fan of all girl action. The action is passionate and playful and the technical aspects show some great care for this style of movie. There's also a few of the usual Shot at Home clips for extras. This is a great homemade movie that makes me want to check out the rest of the series.
