The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: For a homemade movie, this one looks and sounds very nice. The audio is clear and well balanced, which really says something with how much Rick talks from behind the camera. As for background noises, I don't think I noticed any. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks pretty good. There's some noticeable grain to the entire movie, but there isn't much camera shake or uneven lighting. If you can get past the minor grain in the video, this is a great looking and sounding amateur release.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower left corner. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. This one's well worth the money. Although only one of the six scenes involves fucking, Misty and Rick make every scene work and there isn't a lame scene in the bunch. The technical aspects are pretty good for an amateur release, and as usual Shot at Home puts a bit of effort into their extras. This is a great homemade DVD release.
