Initial Expectations: I really enjoyed Real Deal Amateurs: Real Naughty Wives and Girlfriends, which gives me a lot of hope here as well.

Initial Reaction: It’s the worst of the three titles in the Real Deal Amateurs series, but it’s still pretty good and a very good first time effort.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants to see realistic sex with real people who obviously love to fuck, suck, and play with themselves

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants enough silicone to raise the Titanic or women who moan as soon as somebody looks at them

Audio /Video Quality: Amateur titles are notoriously low budget titles, so you don’t expect all the bells and whistles technically. That said, the feature is much better than most people would expect. The audio balance comes and goes a little through the feature. There are a few background noises now and then, such as bedsprings or an airplane flying over, but you can always hear the performers very well. The video is also very clear, with very few shadows to get in the way. There are a few soft focus problems, but very few of the camera jitters that many might expect with a feature like this, which really impressed me. The biggest problem with the video might be the camera poking into the edge of the screen now and then or the lighting flickering a little.

Music: After the rock music during the opening credits, none.

Disc Complaints: There’s about four minutes of commercials before the movie starts. I always hate this but am thankful that at least you can skip past them to the movie here.

Menus: The menus are extremely basic. Neither are animated and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a photo and a scene number.

The Feature: The Real Deal Amateurs series works on a very simple premise. Many real people like to fuck just as much as porn stars do, and do so in a way that’s much easier to relate to. Each scene starts with the names of the people in the scene, and then goes right to the action. In most of the scenes, the people wear shades to help them have a little bit of anonymity.

Laura, a decent looking brunette with a great body, and Muffdiver, who apparently had a career set for him since his birth certificate was signed, start things out. Laura rubs against him as he sits back in a chair by a mirrored wall before sliding down to lick and suck his nipples, shaft, and balls. In a nice twist, they sixty nine as Muffdiver continues to sit in the chair, and then Laura slides forward to rub her pussy against his cock before coming up to give Muffdiver a bit more of a hummer. Finally, he pops on her face and tits. It’s a nice opening scene that has a good spirit to it. You can tell that Laura’s having a lot of fun, and it makes the scene work very well.

Pam, a good looking blonde that’s a little older but still has a killer body, masturbates for the next scene. She starts out rubbing her slit and tits with her fingers before breaking out her toy, a jackrabbit style vibe. It’s a pretty subdued scene that didn’t really do much for me. I could tell that Pam was getting into it as the scene went along, but she never grasped me that well while watching.

Green Eyes, an older brunette, sucks her partner’s cock while he mans the video camera. Green Eyes professes to love sucking cock as the scene starts, and it comes across pretty well here. She’s never overly aggressive at it, but puts in a slow care that’s only distracted by the guy playing with her pencil eraser-like nipples and bald pussy. Her effort finally pays off in the end in her mouth and across her face. It’s a nicely done scene. It’s a little long, but Green Eyes does a good job and swallows down the finish very nicely. The cameraman also does a very good job capturing it. There are a few focus problems, but he keeps Green Eyes nicely centered throughout the scene.

Pam starts out the next scene eating Laura as she relaxes in the Love Swing. Once again, it’s a slower scene, but it allows Laura’s pleasure to slowly build as Pam works her over with her tongue and then the jackrabbit vibe. Laura looks like she might have had several orgasms here, and if she didn’t she was really riding the edge of one for a long time. It’s an okay scene that had a few problems for me. First, although it’s probably a very realistic length, it seemed a little long for me. Second, I always like to see sex go back and forth, and this was completely directed towards Laura. Third, Pam seemed very unemotional. She barely uttered a peep through the entire scene, which made the length of the scene only seem longer. Finally, the camera angles seemed a little limited, which might have been due to the difficulty of working around the love swing. All in all, it’s a good scene, just not great.

Pam decides to work on Bruno next. She asks for permission to suck his cock while on her knees in front of Bruno, and then proceeds to work him over orally after receiving it. Pam finishes things up taking Bruno on her face, and gives him a few more licks in what looks like hope for a little more. It’s a nicely done blowjob scene, but once again Pam appears a little cold. On the more positive side, the camera work is also done very well again. Bruno stands in front of the mirrored wall from the first scene which allows him to get both a POV shot and a side shot, and both of them look pretty darn good.

Laura sits back for a Corona (I’ve heard it referred to beer, but from my experiences it tastes more like what I put out after having a real beer), and plays with herself using a large ball vibe in the penultimate scene. She works herself to an orgasm and then hides under a large pillow. Once again, I couldn’t help but like this scene. It’s fun to watch Laura gradually get ramped up, and her playfully hiding behind the pillow at the end put a big smile on my face.

Finally, Laura and Muffdiver team up to bring the feature to a close. They exchange oral favors before Laura lays back for Muffdiver to slide his shaft into her snatch. Muffdiver goes back in for a few more pokes, which pays off and gives Laura an orgasm too. It’s a good scene to finish things with, but the camera angles didn’t do a lot for me. I think this was to hide the identities of Laura and Muffdiver a little better, but come on! I don’t think there are many guys out there named Muffdiver which makes him a fairly easy giveaway.

Real Deal Amateurs: First Time Nymphos! is the worst of the Real Deal Amateurs series, but still a very decent amateur feature. I have a hard time knocking this title much because it is the start of the series, and it does have a certain amount of charm about it. There’s a certain amount of nervousness you get from the people about having their sex lives committed to video, and the sunglasses are a nice and fun touch. Most importantly, though, is that you can tell that the cast is enjoying what they’re doing rather than acting through it all. The reality of the feature made this one rise far above its problems and ended up an above average feature. No matter how hard we try when we go into something new, we always go in with some sort of expectations, and I’ll admit that with what I had heard about amateur videos before watching this series I wasn’t expecting a lot. That said, and even with First Time Nymphos being my least favorite of the Real Deal Amateurs series, this feature at its worst is as good as I had hoped for when going in originally. More importantly, there’s some good improvement throughout the rest of this series which has made Real Deal Amateurs a series that I highly recommend, including First Time Nymphos which is a very nice starting point.

Overall: The Real Deal Amateurs series can be hard to find at stores, but is readily available at their website. The stores that do carry parts of this series offer them for between $16 and $21. Check out the other entries in this series before this one. It has a certain charm, but if you’re new to the amateur field the other two episodes currently in this series are a much better way to explore it. If you like either of those, then check this feature out which focuses more on oral and masturbation than actual fucking. Sadly, there are no extras, but the transfer is pretty average.

Note to BB Entertainment: It’s great to see how well you’re progressing after seeing where you started! Most people seem to ignore amateur features, but if you keep improving like you have over the three DVDs I’ve seen, that’s going to change soon.
