I like female solo-masturbation videos, so I see a fair number of them. The best ones for me are the ones where there's a variety of looks, styles, etc., because there's a greater chance I'll find once scene with a combination of things I really like. There's always a chance that a DVD will find that sweet spot and have all the scenes do it, but the chances are much greater that they won't. So if all the scenes are very similar, you're either going to be in heaven or you're going to be disappointed in the whole thing.

Pussy Play 1 is a good example. Eight girls, all moderately attractive. They all look to me to be around 20. They're all slender, they have small to medium-sized breasts. They all introduce themselves with some variation of "hi, I'm Mary I'm going to masturbate for you" and then they lay back on the bed and get to it.

Getting to it is similar for all the girls: they begin with some rubbing, some finger fucking, maybe a little breast and nipple fondling, and then they get out the dildo.

The DVD walks the line between looking like an amateur production and a professional one. The scens are simple and uncomplicated. The performers all have that girl-next-door look rather than stripper's day job look. But the camera work is good, the lighting is bright and the sound is better than most amateur productions. No annoying music. Also not much talking, outside of the obligatory moans and groans, except from Nicole Brazzle, who's chatty.

I'd say it's better than most of the amateur films, but the lack of variation makes it dull to me. A sybian, some colorful lingerie, other races or ethnicities besides white, a woman or two who's capable of (and willing to) suck her own nipples are nice variations that are missing here.
