Pure Beauties Collection: Maiko Yuuki Review

* Synopsis *

A few years ago Yukki Maiko was a very popular Japanese AV Girl. When I searched for her on Goggle, the search engine returned 1420 hits so it seems she's far from forgotten. This disc was produced in 1998, when Tai Seng designated her AV girl of the year (1999).

This feature is a softcore, Japanese disc which features lots of glamour posing and tease. There's some nudity, and some suggestive gestures, but nothing harder.

* What's Hot *

Yuuki is a treat for the eyes if you like young Asian women. She's one of those compact Japanese girls who can play the part of an innocent effortlessly. In several sequences on this disc, she's plays the familiar virgin role who is on the verge of discovering her sexuality. For instance, when she's in the tub taking a bath, a toy soldier almost becomes a sex toy, she receives an electric toothbrush as a gift and flirts with the idea of using it as a vibrator and at a modeling session even an ear of corn becomes symbolic of you know what for a few moments.

Each scene was entertaining and unique. Yuuki is presented in a variety of settings on this disc. Below are short descriptions of the action:

In the first scene, "Student", she's an innocent schoolgirl who misses her bus. Of course she is in full uniform -- white blouse, tie and a sexy short skirt. She gets sort of hot and sweaty running after her bus. This must make her horny, because soon she is rubbing her body and exposing herself briefly. There are some brief glimpses of her white panties.

In scene two, "Bath", Yuuki goes home and puts her hair up. Then she strips out of her schoolgirl clothes down to her bra and panties. Up to this point, the footage has been in black and white. Now the movie makes a dramatic switch to color as Yuuki enters an all white bath room. Even though is fair skinned, her body contrasts nicely with the rest of the whitewashed room. Yuuki removes the rest of her clothing and bathes herself. She plays with a toy soldier in the tub, tickling herself with the toy. She looks beautiful in this sequence. Viewers can see all of her delicate body, but it's done in a tasteful manner. She has a patch of hair above her pussy. Yuuki soaps herself using her hands and a sponge.

The next scene is called "The Gift." Yuuki is on a swing set outside. She tries to smoke, but stops. She has a gift and a stuffed animal with her but seems upset about something. The disc is all in Japanese, so I couldn't figure out why. Yuuki opens the gift and inside is an electric toothbrush. As I mentioned before, one of the main themes here is sexual awakening. When Yuuki turns the brush on, her mind starts to consider other uses for the brush besides brushing teeth. At various interesting locations, including an abandoned warehouse and airport, Yuuki stimulates herself with the toothbrush. She mostly focuses on her breasts and strips out of her top. This sequence has pretty cool music video style editing. The camera roams all over her body, starting at her face and working its way down.

"Angel and Devil" is the next scene. Here Yuuki gets dressed in a nightgown and gets ready for sleep. Before dozing off, she looks at a picture book with hunky guys. Then she falls asleep. She begins to toss and turn and begins to dream. In the dream an epic struggle is about to begin, Angel Yuuki vs. Devil Yuuki. Devil Yuuki has horns, pointy ears, red gloves and a pitchfork. Devil Yuuki begins to feel her body all including her pussy region (not explicit). Angel Yuuki appears and the battle begins. In this instance, good does not triumph over evil. Devil Yuuki manages to take down Angel Yuuki and then proceeds to tease her body with the pitchfork handle as if it was a dildo. Devil Yuuki then rubs a wand on Angel's pussy. Angel Yuuki enjoys it. This scene was pretty weird, but clever.

Next are a series of short modeling sequences. First is an indoor glamour photo shoot with Yuuki. Yuuki is nude and looks delicious surrounded by candles. She's posed in some provocative ways and soon she starts to sweat, which looks hot. Then she is seen in a Japanese robe sequence. Next, she's outside on the roof, and she looks cool posing as if she on a balance beam. The scene cuts again and now Yuuki is shopping in a the open market equivalent of Victoria's Secret. She picks out a sexy black bra. Last, she's outdoors with a red hood, posing by some barbed wire.

The last scene, "Airport" takes place in the airport. Yuuki is dressed classy, in a jacket, long pants, and hat. As she walks through the terminal, guys recognize her and ask her to sign photographs. She poses in the airport and receives flowers from some admirers. After a bit Yuuki's plane is departing and she disappears behind the gate. The scene cuts to her jet taking off. Presumable, Yuuki was flying for an appearance in another city. She arrives and as she walks into the building, scores of press photographers take her photo. She is seated at a table for what looks like a interview or press conference and then a long line of guys want to say hi and get her autograph. She is seen taking photos with her fans.

* What's Not *

The disc should have English subtitles.

Like most softcore discs, the running time is stingy. This disc is about 45 minutes.

At the end of the airport scene, right after the jet ascends, a guy simulates jacking off on the airport roof as her plane ascends. There's a white fluid that looks like semen on the pavement. Sheesh, we could have done without that part.

* Everything Else *

The disc includes some basic dvd features such as chapter stops. There are also two coming attractions and the trailer for this title.

* Last Word *

This disc is a lot of fun. I sorta like these softcore discs featuring popular Japanese AV girls. Their ability to simultaneously be innocent and sexy makes them irresistible. Yukki Maiko is no exception. She's young and beautiful and seems pleasant enough to spend time with. This disc is good motivation to learn Japanese!
