Review:
It's love at first sight when a self-impressed writer (Roger Caine), who's too good to work for a porn publication, has a chance encounter with one of its models (Marlene Willoughby) upon storming out of the publisher's office. Of course, their budding relationship isn't without its immediate hardships, as Marlene informs Roger of a contest in the magazine that has her as its prize and her unwillingness, due to her integrity, to pull out of it. This sets into motion the frantic attempts by Roger to stop his girl from partaking, regardless of the cost. Such is the case in "Prized Possession" (a.k.a. "Prized Possessions"), an overall-good, 1978 flick from VCX and director Richard Mailer. Featuring a sexy cast and a fun, albeit fairly simple plot, this film will likely appeal to fans of the New York Golden Age scene. Marlene looks good, as does Samantha Fox, and the sex is generally pretty hot, as well. The acting is decent (or better), and the storyline is enough to keep the viewer's attention. While not the most intricate offering from its era, this film is still a lot of fun and worth checking out...even if as just a rental.
In terms of the sex, Scene One brings together a writer, Roger Caine, and a model whom he met after storming out of a publisher's (David Ruby's) office, the slender brunette, Marlene Willoughby (oral, vaginal ; pop on her taint out of missionary). In Scene Two, an Hispanic(?) secretary in a striped sweater blows David Ruby before Roger shows up and interrupts them. They get back to business once he leaves, however, picking up right where they left off (oral, vaginal ; she jerks him off out of missionary all over her tummy and bush). Scene Three features one of Roger's biggest fans, the cute, brunette spinner Samantha Fox, reluctantly banging out the apparent winner of the magazine's contest, the extremely kooky Bobby Astyr, at the behest of her idol (oral, vaginal ; she jerks him to a pop on her tummy). In Scene Four, Roger shows up at Ruby's office demanding answers about the status of the contest, and--despite his absence--he finds a way of extracting the information from his secretary (oral, vaginal ; cum-shot on her backside). Scene Five brings together Marlene Willoughby and Erica Richardson in a steamy, culminating, girl-on-girl encounter at Erica's pad. Hot stuff!
