And so the Matador hunted no more. This was actually a much needed change, since LeCastel long ago stopped the inane shouts of “Ole!” whenever a gaping asshole was shown in his Private movies. “Matador” no longer had any significance as the title for a movie line, but was at least distinctive. I would have thought that Private could come up with a better replacement title than simply “Private Extreme,” but I suppose that this does illustrate that LeCastel’s movies have less plot and more anal-for-its-own sake than the company’s other features.

Really, nothing has changed from late generation Matador movies. Here’s David Perry, driving through the countryside to the Hungarian wine region near Lake Balaton (southwest of Budapest). There’s Steve Holmes at the main building of the vinyard to greet Perry, who is his old friend both in the movie and in real life. It is time for the harvest, and grapes are not all that is ripe for the picking. Apparently it is an annual ritual for Perry’s character to visit, and to have his way with the farm girls in return for some manual labor. Pounding sex also seems to be the reward the girls earn for their hard work. While the next point may not interest most people, I found it odd that aside from Myli and Budapest-based Alissa (who is actually Ukrainian), all of these women are Czech. I suppose Czech girls have more of the peasant look LeCastel sought, and with their often statuesque build, they better fill out their long dresses (I certainly enjoy seeing long, renaissance fair-type dresses pushed aside for sex, but if you have a fetish for it like one of my friends, then you need to see this movie).

Perry wanders the rows of vines until he encounters very pretty blonde Daniela, who introduces herself as “Sylvie.” She’s tall and slender, and the natural light highlights her beauty much better than the conditions in Little White Chicks...Big Black Monster Dicks 14. She blows Perry, and then bends over for some standing doggy. Still clothed, she takes a seat for reverse cowgirl anal (look carefully, his cock is up her ass, I saw a comment when this movie first came out that this segment wasn’t anal, but(t) it is). Pretty, curvy Myli seemed blandly generic here, but I have since enjoyed her much more in Hardball 17 and Asses High. As I indicated at the start, meet the new LeCastel line, same as the old LeCastel line. He certainly has greatly improved the technical qualities of his movies over the years. Bacchanal is very well shot, and the beautiful women and almost as lovely scenery are captured in near perfect picture quality. I should say that LeCastel has improved the quality of his Private movies, since his latest Ana/Diabolic releases are terrible, with seemingly no effort put into the filming or the fucking. I suppose Private pays better and gives him a bigger budget, and in return, he tries harder for them.

The DVD of Bacchanal includes the usual good Private package, with cast details, its own trailer and five others, and multiple language/subtitle options. Sadly, the report is both uninformative and annoyingly narrated, but this is somewhat offset by the nice photo album. While Myli appears on the two sided cover in peasant dress, she wears modern clothing for her scene, as I indicated above.

Bacchanal, like all of LeCastel’s movies, is a butt-fucking exercise. The sex is all competant, but largely unimaginative. It won’t appeal to those who don’t care for anal, but it also will disappoint those seeking extreme ass-play, or toy stories. The fucking lacks the intimacy and energy found in the Nachoribas movies, but the women are easy on the eyes, the setting is peacefully pastoral, and the movie is fun if you looking for straight forward, undemanding anal viewing. The hint of the plot might even make it useful to couples who want to try something stonger than Wicked, but who are scared off by LeCastel’s cruder Assman and Debauchery lines. Bacchanal isn’t a great movie, but neither is a bad one, and while I can’t recommend a purchase unless you collect everything LeCastel does, the shelves and online sites are filled with worse rentals.

UPON FURTHER REVIEW : I now realize that "Slavka" is in fact Sarah Hoffman, and in fact, Steve Holmes even calls her "Sarah" at the start of the scene. Meanwhile, "Katerina" is almost certainly Julia Crow from various Alex Ladd directed movies.
