Private Movies 4: The Other Face of Pleasure Review

Overall Impression
It would seem to me that the "Private Movies" line has become Adamo's replacement for his hugely popular "Private Penthouse" series. This film certainly has many of the qualities I found in the Penthouse films, like gorgeous women, amazing cinematography, great camera work, exotic sets, and outstanding wardrobe & makeup.

However there are some things that I noticed in this film that seemed out of the ordinary and leave me a little concerned over the future of this series. There is not one single facial in this entire film, NOT ONE! I remember facial pop shots being standard issue in Adamo films. Secondly there is no anal from covergirl Moore, and only anal in two of the six scenes. I know I know its not the end of the world if there is no anal, but it is unexpected to see so few scenes with it in an Adamo film. My concern is that they are attempting to bring this line closer to the couples friendly or at least the television friendly market. Let's hope not.

Scene 1 Jodie Moore
The film opens with a very softly lit outdoor boat scene. This 1on1 starts with some oral pleasure for both participants on the bow of the vessel kind of like an xxx version of that Titanic scene. This scene works well mainly because of how fricken sexy Jodie looks with the ocean wind blowing through her hair as she displays her tight little ass in several great positions. The scene ends with her stud busting his load on her chest.

Scene 2 Petra Short
Another 1on1 scene in a beautiful tropical setting. Petra really is a beautiful girl, with a fantastic, natural and slender frame she reminds me a little of Bridget Fonda. However she has never really grabbed me with her performances, yes they are always good and she is easy on the eyes she seems to lack passion sometimes. Plus I can't recall her ever doing anal and that is unusual for a girl who has made it into so many Adamo flicks. They go at it on the beach in several positions making for a very solid scene, but with yet another pop shot to the chest.

Scene 3 Jodie Moore
This scene is simply stunning. The direction in this scene is amazing and reminds me once again why I always look forward to his films. This is one of the most perfectly lit outdoor sex scenes I have ever seen, big deal you say. It is a big deal when Jodie Moore's perfectly tanned body is framed just right through his lens as she rides away on some lucky stiffs pole. Jodie just totally seduces the camera throughout this 1on1. Adamo capture one of the absolute best blowjobs I have seen yet from Mrs. Moore. Then we go right into picturesque reverse cowgirl until we cycle through cowgirl, doggie, and missionary. My only complaint was that there was no anal in this scene which I have come to expect from Jodie being an accomplished anal performer. The scene ends with a baby batter explosion on her stomach.

Scene 4 Jodie Moore & Cleare
These two make for a pretty hot pairing in this girl/girl scene.

Scene 5 Lynn Stone & Nikol
The action moves inside for this 2on2. Cleare and Petra watch as Nikol and Lynn heat things up.Lynn Stone was not listed on the boxcover so I was a little surprised when she showed up, but this being an Adamo film I shouldn't have been that surprised. Anyway back to the action, soon enough there are two men for the ladies to share. Lynn and Nikol partner up with a stud. We see some nice reverse cowgirl work from Nikol and the first anal performance of the film from Mrs. Stone. Being the anal professional that she is we also see her in a few DP positions. Another solid scene.

Scene 6 Alyssa, Cleare & Petra Short
This time two gents have their way with a lovely trio of ladies on what looks like an ols style pirate ship or something. Cleare impressed me as usual here with some nice stuff as well as a little anal work. All the girls take a good rogering at some point with Alyssa putting in some anal as well as some DP time. A nice scene, despite the fact that I'm not the biggest fan of following multiple pairings within a scene. Once again a scene ends with some healthy loads being distributed over Alyssa's tits.

Backstage Fun - This really is backstage fun! We are treated to what seems like a genuine impromptu girl/girl scene with Jodie Moore. I really enjoyed this extra footage and would say it is well worth watching.
Final Thoughts
Some of Adamo's better work as of late is in this one. He capture the tropical settings almost as well as he does the sexual performances, but for some reason opts for no facials. Despite the softer sexual vibe from this title, it is still top notch porn for any fan of good looking ladies having hot steamy sex.
