The interview-audition scene in this compilation is as close as pornographic gets to "high art". This is a two-disk compilation of 14 scenes involving ANGEL DARK in films which were released on DVD by Private Studios.

Nearly all of these scenes involve substantial anal intercourse and, as you might have guessed, every scene with two guys involves Angel getting the ol' double penetration treatment.

I like this DVD for two reasons, one expected and one unexpected: The expected reason is that Angel Dark (Viktoria Knezova) matches her name. She has an angel's face and body which hide a dark otherness which I have yet to figure out. I mean, why does this attractive woman find a dick up her ass so often? The unexpected reason was the profoundness of Scene No. 1 from Private Casting 48 in which Pierre Woodman initiates Esmeralda/Angel Dark into the pornographic industry.

And I do mean profound.

Yes, pornography is the art of profanity, Yet, here is a scene full of profoundity in which real human emotion and human connection are achieved. Hell, even the sex has meaning beyond the fact that Angel Dark is so damn fucksome.

You cannot summarize a work of art, but I'll try to give you the gist.
Twenty year old Viktoria works in a restaurant in Slovakia, a very poor girl in a very poor country. She has decided to try porn acting because she believes it will allow her to travel and to earn money to help her parents. She is shy and, as the interview continues, it becomes clear that, despite how beautiful and sexually desirable she may be to most men, Viktoria does not like herself. Whenever Pierre compliments her on her body or looks, she practically rolls her eyes and finds a reason why she is neither beautiful nor sexy.

In one of the many contradictory aspects to this scene, Pierre give Viktoria a porn magazine to look at. By her reactions, it soon becomes clear that she is quite conservative. She disapproves of the pictures involving anal sex and involving two men with one woman (An ironic fact given Ms. Dark's subsequent specialization in such scenes). She also wonders why the pretty blonde in one picture would ever need to be in pornography. When Pierre tells her that she is as pretty as the blonde girl in the picture, she doesn't believe him.

As it turns out, Viktoria lost her virginity at 18 years old and it was not pleasant. Viktoria mentions that she now has a boyfriend who she classifies as a "bad boy". Though she wants a "romantic boy", she is chagrined to realize that she always goes for the bad boy. With a quirky smile, I admits "That's life". As she talks about her boyfriend, various emotions play across her face. You get the sense that she cares for him but that he either is emotionally abusive or that he disapproves of her decision to try porn or that she is sad that she plans to cheat on him by doing porn. This kind of tension plays throughout the scene.

Viktoria is clearly undecided about her decision to do porn. She answers each of Pierre's questions, yet there is a graveness in her vocal tone and her body language is very closed off.

When Pierre asks her to take off her clothes, she does so in another room and returns wearing a towel. Hesitantly, she drops the towel and only after Pierre has her turn around and bend over, presenting her ass to the camera, does she relax.

This is one of many brilliant ploys used by Pierre to accomplish he's seduction. Since she has told him that she did not like her ass, he promptly makes her show her naked ass and then speaks lovingly of her derriere. She seems to find the whole thing about showing her ass off to be farcical and, having mooned the camera, she become decidedly more comfortable sitting down and talking to him while naked.

Necessarily, Pierre makes the approach to begin the sex, kind of a necessary part of porn. What is Viktoria's take on all of this? Well, she kindly but firmly tells him that she will not be having sex with him.

You get the sense that Pierre admires her stubbornnesss. Here is a girl sitting naked who fully understands that she will have to have sex if she wants to be in "porno", yet she is too prudish to even allow a little petting.

So, Pierre tells her he wants to "see her pussy". Viktoria kindly tells him that it is "normal" and so just like every other one he has seen. In one of the great lines in porn, Pierre then tells her that he "wants to see it with my tongue".

Begrudgingly and not without some defiance, Viktoria lets him spread her legs apart and begin "the lickin' that keeps on tickin'". Well, that girl goes from zero to one hundred in about three minutes and you get the sense that this may be her first orgasm. Pierre, of course, is only getting started. He's an aggressive little fucker and soon he has her do the doggy. Which is quite appropriate because that girl is now howling. You get the sense that she never has been so well fucked and that her howling is part orgasmic desire and part emotional pain and confusion at what she is doing with her body and how intensely it feels.

And then the "holy grail". Even in her first orgasm, Viktoria would not cotton to Pierre touching her asshole. At one point, just the brush against that button causes her to state she will immediately leave, even as she lies naked writhing in her desires as she plays with her pussy. Pierre seems tickled by this and he repeatedly apologizes.

However, having subsequently fucked her three ways short of yesterday, she is more accommodating. Hesistantly, Viktoria lets Pierre use a dildo on her asshole and then, the heaven's part and before she knows it, he's fucking her up the ass. And if her howling was animalistic before, it is demonic now. Turns out that she enjoys anal intercourse. Who knew? She certainly didn't.

And so, after a good forty-five minutes of Herculean effort by Pierre, he gets his reward and ends it by coming in Viktoria's mouth. Relaxed by a good fuck, she lies beside him and even smiles. Well served by Pierre, she now realizes that she can do porno and that, in fact, she enjoyed the job as much for the sex with Pierre as for the money.

An added enjoyment throughout is the language barrier. Viktoria is slovakian and Pierre is french. They both speaking passing English to each other since they do not know the other's language. Yet often they don't quiet know what the other is trying to say. Their exasperation is often comical as they find inventive ways to get "the point" across.

Regarding the other 13 scenes, Angel is lovely in each. Of course, how could she not be? Of these scenes, she is quiet beautiful in her scene with Toni Ribas, which appears to be a romantic tryst amongst lovers. The main fault with this scene is the incongruent ending. After setting up this scene as "beautiful" and "romantic", the director has Ribas piledrive Angel. If there's one position which is neither "beautiful" nor "romantic", it is a guy turning a girl on her neck and driving his cock down into her cunt.

The other pleasing scene is the one involving Angel and Sebastian Barrio. Angel is at a club and spots Sebastian. She wants him, so she takes him into the ladies' restroom and soon they are doing the nasty.

There is also a scene in which Angel is a wench being fucked by a pirate. That one is fun, however, it is mostly anal and I like anal to be a change of pace within a primarily vag fucking scene. So, it was not quite my cup of tea.

The rest of the scenes were forgettable. Maybe because I do not like DP, however, I think more because they were too mannered and forced. In fact, the bonuses scenes were better than most of the regular scenes, since they were better lit, better acted (in that the actors seemed to enjoy the sex), and more coherently presented.
