Overall: Cape Town 1 has an excellent plot along with hot and steamy sex. The Cape Town series is the definitive collection of Pierre Woodman. This is Mr. Woodman at his finest! Pure Wood! 

DVD Quality: Since this movies was made in 1996, I can guess with certainty that it was filmed using the HI-8 format. So, you can expect good A/V quality from the format. This does not disappoint. The audio is encoded at 192 kbps while the video is encoded at. 5-8 Mbps. Now, the video quality is impressive considering the movie was filmed in circa 1996. 

The aspect ratio is 4:3, but it was filmed like a real movie, so it has the "letterboxed" effect.

Extras: The extras are very good. I especially liked the production notes and the "Report." The Report actually shows the stars of both Cape Town and Kruger Park. Ironically, some of the cast members appear in both films such as Carol and Blondie.
