Private Black Label 30: Scottish Loveknot, The Review

Overall Impression
A solid debut effort from Private's new director Gazzman. Although I generally watch my porn for the quality of sex it displays not the level of storytelling, I did appreciate Gazzman's efforts in the story department. Loveknot does make for an interesting myth and the woman they got to do the narration was wonderfull. I was also very pleased to see that Gazzman chose to go with the widescreen format something I hope to see more porn directors embrace. However on the sex side of the equation I was a bit dissapointed. The two scenes with Jodie Moore are excellent but the rest of the sex fell a little flat. Personally I felt it was a bit of a sub par cast when compared to Private's normal array of Euro hotties.

Plot
"Robert Mhor was a great warrior, but Scottish legend has it that he was also a great lover. After every battle he would take the defeated armys women, so that they would never again feel pleasure with any other man. However, Robert was in love with only one woman - the Lady of the Loch. With her, he would reach heights of pleasure unknown to any other mortals. Robert died, but the legend and the spirit of the Lady live on, and once every hundred years she reappears in search of her lord amongst the most powerful lovers of that moment..."

Scene 1 Jodie Moore
A fantastic opening scene. My oh my does Jodie Moore have a body built for porn. She has such a perfectly toned, immaculately sculpted physique that oozes and drips sexuality with every arch of her back and thrust of her pelvis. To say the least Gazzman captures her extremely well in this outdoor sexual romp. This scene really does have it all. It starts out with some superb oral attention from Jodie, then moves on to them going at it rather passionately in several fine positions. There is some great chemistry between these two here as they generate some serious heat. What I'm trying to get across here is that this scene comes of as more than just your typical hot 1on1 gonzo fuck scene, there [i]seems[/i] to be some genuine passion for each other here. After several exciting positions Jodie puts in a nice bit of anal work in several positions. Overall a very impressive scene and one of Jodie's all time best.

Scene 2 Violet
Violet is a relatively cute blond with a decent natural looking body. There is some good energy from her in various position including anal. However the scene just didn't do much for me. I think it was lacking real chemistry between the performers, plus Gazzman didn't capture the same stunning perspectives he found in the previous scene.

Scene 3 Vanda & Ginger
The ladies go at it with each other first enticing their stud to join in on the action. Some decent action here in this evening outdoor location.

Scene 4 Jamie Woods
Woods stars n this 1on1. Once again we have another rather mediocre scene. (Ok in all fairness I guess it is only mediocre when compared to what I'm used to seeing in big budget Private features.)

Scene 5 Jodie Moore
It is possible there is some kind of a Jodie Moore bias at work here but this scene is on another level compared to the previous three. For starters this scene heats up with the help of some enticing foreplay. You know the stuff that thousands of real couples do before sex. There is some nice finger sucking and heavy petting to start things off. One thing here that I found to be a real visual turn on was watching Moore pleasuring herself while sucking her partner off. Part of the plot line here is that Jodie's character's true love is being forced to watch her, this actually works well during brief moments in the action. Anyway solid scene with some nice views of that physique I was gushing about earlier bouncing around in reverse cowgirl and doggie. No anal here, but nice scene nevertheless.

Scene 6 Michelle Louise, Vanda & Violet
This is an all threesome. Not bad, but not great.

Scene 7 Vanda & Violet
These two ladies star again in a scene that starts of as a pair of 1on1s, but ends of as a group sex scene. There is some nice anal work from the ladies as well as some DP. This is also the multi-angle scene. However the second angle is fairly disappointing, it seems as though it was shot with an inferior camera plus it is not properly lit.

Final Thoughts
A solid couples feature from Private. It is probably worth a look if your a Jodie Moore fan because her two scenes is the reason this film gets a favorable review. The bad new is that the other scenes do not meet the same level of quality. On a personal preference note I should point out that one of the things I generally love about most Private features from directors like Adamo, Kovi, Hyde, and Thring is that there is a fair bit of female eye contact with the camera. So for those of you that dislike it when their starlets look into the camera this might raise the films stock in your eyes. I was shocked by how few extras there were on this release especially since it was from Private. The last scene is multi-angle but the standard set of Private extras are missing. On the flip side I know they are going to release a special edition version eventually that is sure to be jam packed with extras.
