Indiana Mack: Sex in the Jungle is a mess of a movie from Private. For the story, wealthy “adventurer” Mack (Nick Lang) brags at a party in France that he can survive anywhere on his own. After Mack passes out, his friends (Freddy Dalton and Claudia Jamsson) fly him to the Dominican Republic and leave him in the jungle. Mack is rescued by a nameless archaeologist (Angelica Bright), who names him Indiana Mack, who happens to be searching for a legendary amulet of great power that has been broken into four pieces. Indiana Mack joins her for the search but two mercenaries (Leslie Taylor and Csoky Ice) are also after the amulet.

The story is a complete waste, how Private could manage to attach three writers to the movie is a mystery since the plot and dialog could fit on a small coffee napkin. Portions are, as the title might lead you to believe, sad attempts to rip of the Indiana Jones series. The non-sex portions of the movie are just plain horrible. Everything in the movie just happens, there is no attempt to make any of it cinematic. Mack is completely incompetent and calling him an adventurer is a joke. The female archaeologist isn't even named anywhere in the film. The dubbing in the English version is terrible. The dialog all sounds flat with no emotion. It is almost too painful to listen to.

The female lead, Angelica Bright is hot; however, the sex in the movie is relatively average. The film features long sex scenes that could have been far better edited. Private has done here what Private does best, have a movie with nice looking cast members where the sex scenes are very formulaic and the scenes are relatively devoid of emotions.

Indiana Mack: Sex in the Jungle was shot in the Dominican Republic and features locales that look very nice. For most of the sex scenes, Private and Kovi located very nice locations. It was unfortunate that with bringing the production to the Dominican Republic and searching out the nice locations for the sex scenes that Private, Kovi, and the other two credited writers didn't do more with the story and sex scenes and make a better movie than they did.

Private has done their standard job with this release. Indiana Mack: Sex in the Jungle is presented in the academy aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The picture looks decent without glitches or other noticeable defects although the picture does look a little on the soft side. The picture shouldn't be an issue to any viewers.

Indiana Mack: Sex in the Jungle is presented with a dubbed English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo audio track, which is acceptable for the material being presented. As with most of Private's movies, the audio is a poor dub. There are also French Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, German Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, Spanish Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, and Italian Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo dubbed audio tracks. There are Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, and Danish subtitles included on the release.

Private has included several extras on the release. There is “The Report,” which is a behind the scenes piece on Santo Domingo Connection and Indiana Mack: Sex in the Jungle that runs for nine minutes. The trailer for the movie is included on the disc. There is a photo gallery. There are text production notes on the movie. There is also a text piece on the cast with basic information.

Indiana Mack: Sex in the Jungle is one of Private's feature movie where the movie is all glossy but the word feature doesn't really apply to the movie. The plot is paper thin and the sex is relatively average. Private has done a good job with this release.
