Pride: Pornstar Coming Out Stories is a documentary short film from directors mr. Pam, Steve Cruz, and Trenton Ducati. Pride: Pornstar Coming Out Stories features the stories of how several gay adult movie stars came out or were outed.

Each of the segments appears to have been shot by the stars themselves during the 2020 COVID-19 quarantine, so the videography of each part varies from star to star. The variety of experiences that are presented by the different actors are fascinating. Some are touching, some are humorous, and others will tug at your heart. This reviewer has to give kudos to all the stars in the short film for sharing these deeply personal stories.

Each of the 24 stars in the short film addresses the camera directly while sharing their stories. Some share stories of how they always knew they were gay, others share when they found out they preferred men over women, some of the tales involve them coming out to their family, and some of the tales include being outed for being gay. Sean Zevran's final piece highlights the need for this short documentary. His story isn't sad, but he talks about why coming out is still so hard, even in 2020, and this leaves the viewer wishing this was a better world.

Pride: Pornstar Coming Out Stories is an excellent short film. Whether you are gay, you know someone who is gay, or you don't yet know someone who is gay, Pride: Pornstar Coming Out Stories should be viewed. It gives a touching and insightful look into what it is like being gay in America today.
