The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nice. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although there are a couple minor background noises they never interfere with the action. The video is presented in a mix of full frame and non-anamorphic video. The lighting is always well done, and although there is a little camera motion it's always minor and doesn't detract from the overall movie.

POV Pervert 10 is a very good POV release that gives Mike John fans everything they've come to expect. Mike does a great job admiring the girls with his camera as well as his cock, and there's plenty of chemistry that comes out in each scene because of it. He's not silent behind the camera like with some other POV directors, and although he never gets overly vocal there's also no time in the movie where you don't think he's completely into each of the girls. I think Rucca Page might have turned out my favorite scene here, but at the same time there isn't a bad scene in the movie. That isn't to say that it doesn't have any faults, as there is one fault for me. Although the action is strong in each and every scene, the scenes are also extremely similar and started to run together for me towards the end of the movie, and that's even when I split the movie over about four sessions to watch it. There's only three positions in each scene, and every single scene starts the fucking in the missionary position before moving on with doggie and cowgirl in most of the scenes. Just mixing up the positions would have been a big help, but when every one started in missionary my eyes did start to glaze over a little late in the movie even though the action seemed hot. POV Pervert 10 is a very good POV release, but it could have used just a touch more variety sexually.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about four and a quarter minutes with about six seconds per very nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also a cast listing by scene, cumshot recaps, weblinks, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts just under forty five minutes and is mostly presented in non-anamorphic widescreen, but also has a bit of full frame footage as well. It nicely mixes cut footage, clips of Mike working with the girls, and clips of Mike shooting the scenes, and moves along in the same order as the scenes were in the movie. Rucca starts out with some nice extra sex footage as well as a few words with Mike. There's some very good footage of Mike working with Allie that really shows how fresh she was when she shot the scene as well as some of Mike's usual self depreciating humor as he shoots Velicity. There's also a nice chat between Mike and Aiden as he shoots her stills. There's nothing from Britney's scene, but Mike has a few post-sex comments after Tatiana's scene. This is a very nice behind the scenes featurette that adds quite a bit to the overall DVD.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Jules Jordan Video's DVDs can be found online for between about $24 and $37 with very few stores offering them near the low end. I'd aim for the low end here. The movie has plenty of great POV footage with Mike John delivering everything one has come to expect from him. At the same time, there isn't a lot of variety to the scenes and they do start to run together. The technical aspects show some very nice effort and there's some good effort put into the extras as well. This is a hot release that should please Mike John fans, but I would have liked for the sex to have been mixed up a little more.

Note to Mike John / Jules Jordan Video: If you're going to mix segments which were shot in the full frame and widescreen formats, please break the footage apart between the two DVDs so that you can present the widescreen footage with the anamorphic transfer it deserves rather than the substandard non-anamorphic format used here.
