has become so self-referential that it's common to see movies like POV
Pervert that aren't just about sex acts, they're about particular ways

forced to take a crash course in porn lingo, from A2M to POV to WTF.

a thing of the past and even vignette set-ups have been superseded by

be rating this movie highly, but it's got more to recommend it than that.
The cast is strong all round and the style is refreshingly different.
The sense of immediacy is powerful and persuasive.
So maybe, at around 2 hours and 50 minutes, the movie is overlong, though
I rarely felt it dragged when watching a scene or two at a time. Viewed
all at once, maybe the same style of scene, every scene, can become a
little too much. However, such is the appeal of these girls that I find
it hard to imagine many viewers will be able to make it through the whole
thing anyway. When talking porn, that's clearly a compliment.
As well as casting aside the various aspects I alluded to earlier, POV
Pervert also eschews for the greater part the sort of impersonal porn
performance we're too used to and shows some great girls doing what comes
naturally, albeit for money and in front of the camera. And with the POV
Pervert.
The funny thing about all this is that despite the way Mike too readily
disparages himself as a pervert and adds in such porno requisites as come
swallowing or ass-to-mouth, ironically labelled as "romantic", in a strange
sort of way this is romantic. Not in the moonlight and roses sense,
of course, but isn't it about something we're all after - the human contact,
the intimacy - but we (the fellows, at least) are just too damn male
to admit it? Or have I got this wrong; is it really just about a dirty
old man lusting after young girls?
I should note that I was watching Louis Theroux's latest documentary about
life in a Nevada brothel while considering POV Pervert, and the parallels

compelling. I sense this train of thought could get rather ugly, so let's
leave it there. Bottom line: recommended.

POV Pervert is backed up with a full half-hour bonus scene, featuring

quality is good, but I did notice some rather blotchy effects on skin
