Porno Things: A Stranger Parody is a vignette style feature hardcore movie parody of Matt and Ross Duffer's 2016 Netflix series Stranger Things and Tommy Lee Wallace's 1990 telefilm IT by Adam Christopher. Actually, it is never stated that it is the 1990 IT that is being spoofed and not Andy Muschietti's 2017 IT, however, this reviewer certainly feels that Tommy Lee Wallace's version fits in better with the 1980s theme of Stranger Things and feels more appropriate for this parody. Adam Christopher has worked several characters from seasons one and two into Porno Things: A Stranger Parody.

The theme for Porno Things: A Stranger Parody, strange things are occurring in Chatsworth, Indiana. The pornstar Eighteen (Riley Nixon) mysteriously appears in town and is found by Mike (Donnie Rock) and Dustin (Joe Filippone). Joyce's (Betty Blaze) son Will has gone missing. Georgie (Lena Starr), Vee (Veronica Valentine), and Billie (Sailor Luna) are searching the sewers for Dirty Pennywise (Adam Christopher).

Porno Things: A Stranger Parody is more of a series of intertwined vignettes, that Adam Christopher has made feel connected with each other, that tell various stories of the odd happenings within Chatsworth, Indiana. Adam Christopher has written a sharp and witty script that not only spoofs the Stranger Things and IT properties but also manages to spoof the adult feature parody movies as well. The result is the non-sexual portions of Porno Things: A Stranger Parody are a lot of fun to watch.

The cast that Adam Christopher has assembled for the movie is excellent as well. Not only does the cast deliver some hot sex scenes but they also perfectly deliver the lines that Adam Christopher has written. If you don't find yourself laughing at the interactions between Joyce and Sheriff Hopper (Tommy Pistol) then honestly you are taking all of this just a bit too seriously. Another stand out interaction is Dirty Pennywise and Georgie's scene that make fun of out of place sex scenes within the adult industry's parody feature movies that will make you smile. The sex scenes are well done and Adam Christopher even manages to work the spoof into some of the sex scenes; for instance, Eighteen's waffle filled masturbation scene should come to the amusement of viewers familiar with the Netflix series.

Adam Christopher was obviously working with a limited budget when he made Porno Things: A Stranger Parody, however, he worked well within his budgetary limitations making a good looking movie. The only set that really could have used a little more work was Dirty Pennywise's porno world sewer. The movie is nicely shot and edited together.

Honestly, Porno Things: A Stranger Parody is a cute and amusing vignette spoof that fans of the genre should check out. No, the movie doesn't have the budget that the big studios have to work with and looks a little on the cheap side. However, Adam Christopher's script and the excellent performances from the cast overcome the low budget and have made a movie that is well worth watching.

The edition of Porno Things: A Stranger Parody screened was a digital screener of the director's cut, so there may be variances between the digital screener and the released version. Porno Things: A Stranger Parody was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 1080p. The image presented is absolutely beautiful with rich, vibrant color and no noticeable defects whatsoever. There is an AdamRuinsPorn.com bug in the lower right-hand corner of the screen throughout the movie.

Porno Things: A Stranger Parody is presented with an English Stereo audio track. There aren't any noticeable true issues with the audio presented in the movie. There are a few places where the sound dips down but the dialog is clear and easy to understand at all times.

Porno Things: A Stranger Parody is a low-budget spoof of Stranger Things and IT by Adam Christopher. Instead of letting the low-budget keep the movie down, Adam Christopher has assembled an excellent cast and written a witty script, creating a movie that is well worth watching. Instead of being a full-fledged feature movie, Porno Things: A Stranger Parody is a collection of vignettes that work in conjunction with each other. Fans of the genre should definitely check this movie out.
