Director: Drew Warner Cast: Dean Phoenix, Corey Summers, Chad Savage, Tuck Johnson, Troy Michaels, Jack Ryan, Zach Richards, Junior, Jay Raven, Jessie Martin Scene One Starring: Dean Phoenix, Tuck Johnson, Chad Savage First off, I have to admit I’m in total lust with Dean Phoenix. This guy just plain exudes masculinity. He’s just plain gorgeous! Unfortunately, that doesn’t really come across very well in this first scene. Everyone is poolside, and the sun is always at Dean’s back, so his face is covered in shadows throughout the scene. It’s a decent threeway, but I think it would have been better as a duo. Dean and Tuck seem to get along well, but Chad doesn’t really do much until the end of the scene where he gets a piece of Tuck’s ass. Scene Two Starring: Corey Summers, Chad Savage Now this is more like it! Corey and Chad steam things up in a very romantic scene… there’s a good 5 minutes of kissing and caressing before you even see any cock! Chad does a much better job here than in scene 1… he and Corey really seem to connect. Chad fucks Corey in only one position (missionary) but it looks great! Fucking face to face has always been my favorite, as it gives the guys a chance to stare deep into each other’s eyes. Chad blows a great big load to boot! Scene Three Starring: Dean Phoenix, Junior Boy, they don’t call this guy Junior for nothing! He’s cute and all, but, man! Let’s just say he’s a bit of an underachiever! That’s ok, because Dean’s the main attraction here anyway. Dean is looking better in this scene, but unfortunately, there’s no spark at all between these two. It’s just your standard suck and fuck by the pool. I’m not sure what happened here. Maybe it was Junior’s cadaver impression, or maybe the lack of any natural sounds killed this scene. I will admit, things get a little more interesting near the end, but by that point, I’ve lost my erection, and just want this scene to be over. Scene Four Starring: Dean Phoenix, Jack Ryan, Jay Raven, Jessie Martin, Zach Richards, Troy Michaels, Corey Summers Well every movie needs its orgy, and Poolside throws damn near every one of its stars into the pool for their big orgy sequence. As orgies go, this one’s not bad. I never got “lost” or couldn’t tell who was doing what to whom. I find it odd, though, that a scene with so many small dicks would be oral only. It’s too bad. I kept thinking “as soon as they start fucking, this scene will really pick up”, but they never did. Scene Five Starring: Dean Phoenix, Troy Michaels The last scene is probably Dean’s best in Poolside. He finally gets a big dick to play with, and seems to have a lot of fun slurping on that big meat stick. I really liked the way Troy whimpered while he was getting impaled by Dean’s sausage too! Audio/Visual Quality Filming porn outdoors is tough, especially on such a sunny day. Unfortunately, they didn’t try to compensate for the sun at all, which left us with shadows all over the place. The actual video quality isn’t quite up to DVD standards either. Some shots look crystal clear, but others seem pixely or slightly grainy. The music is nice and mellow, but tends to drown out most of the moaning and groaning. Extras There’s seven previews for other Sports and Recreation flims, and 3 separate picture galleries. The scene selection menu lists all the stars in each particular scene, which is certainly helpful. There’s only 1 chapter stop per scene, though. Ugh! Each scene should have at least 3 chapter stops! One at the beginning, one where the fucking starts, and one for the cumshots. That should be mandatory for all pornos! Final Word I really do love Dean to pieces, but even though he starred in 4 of the 5 scenes, he just didn’t impress me in Poolside. In fact, my favorite scene was the one he wasn’t even in!
