The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, but there are a couple very minor background noises and places where The audio seems a bit scratchy. The video is also pretty darn good. It’s well lit but has a very slight tough of softness that might turn some people off a little. Myself, I really didn’t care.

Music: There’s a bit of music during the start of each scene and the tease portion. It’s normally pretty well balanced and has a nice style that helps set off those portions of the movie.

False Advertising: The cover states 100% Cream Pies, and every scene has a cream pie finish. Unfortunately, the front cover claims “4 Internal Cream Pies” and “2 Anal Cream Pies” with the back cover claiming “Each of these nasty sluts get their holes crammed with cock then filled deep with nasty cum!”. One of the scenes here is a threesome, and although it is a cream pie scene, Cytherea never takes a drop of cum anywhere other than on her tongue. So although there were two anal cream pies, that makes only three vaginal cream pies. Cytherea taking a cream pie wasn’t a factor for me in wanting to watch this one (Sunny Lane and Melissa Lauren have that honor), but I can honestly say that if one of them would have went cream pie free I would have been darn pissed. So for all the people out there who might be looking for a Cytherea cream pie, I’m deducting a half point from the overall score. Menus: The main menu has some nice animation to give a great first impression combined with a bit of the action. Planting Seeds 2 is a very hot cream pie movie. Sunny Lane and Mark Davis start the movie out with one of the best scenes I’ve seen in a heck of a long time, and although the rest of the movie can’t maintain the level (and to be fair, I’m not sure how they could), it never even comes close to dropping down to an average level. Smash has been one of my favorite studios for a bit now, and after reading a couple negative comments on one of their movies a few days ago I tried figuring out why they’ve impressed me so much lately. Watching Planting Seeds 2 reminded me why. To start with, Mike Metropolis seem to know just where the camera should be. While some directors seem to just randomly move back and forth between long close-ups and distance shots, he moves the camera up and down the girl’s body, zooming in and moving out at what feels to me to be the exactly right times. Although this is a cream pie movie, the scenes never feel like they’re being rushed to the end or drawn out. There’s great focus put on the tease, and although the chemistry isn’t always utterly fantastic, there’s at least a couple scenes where it really seems to be outstanding (such as in Sunny, Harmony, and Kesley’s scenes here). Finally, there’s some attention to the little things. Each scene has a quick lead-in here that might take thirty seconds. It’s nothing big but often had just a touch of humor, such as Mark Ashley showing up, finding Melissa Lauren diddling herself, and letting her know that he was the fuckbuddy she ordered. Simple? Heck yeah. Cheesy? Maybe a bit, but with the right delivery and somebody who knows not to take it seriously it gives the scene a fun start. On the negative side here, I guess my biggest complaint is a couple minor audio problems and Cytherea not taking a cream pie. The scenes are a little up and down, but there were never two scenes in a row that felt down. The hot scenes were really hot for me, and I think this might have made the couple scenes which I thought lacked slightly seem a little worse just because they were sandwiched between scenes that I enjoyed so much more. Planting Seeds 2 is one heck of a great cream pie movie.

The technical aspects are also done well and there’s some nice effort put into the extras. This is a very nice release!
