Expectations

Pirates is a great piece of smut, and I wanted to check out Blu-ray porn on my new Playstation. This review will discuss the blu-ray only. (If you want to know more about the movie, check out my original review.)

I compared the two DVD's using the DVD player on my Sony PS3. It offers upconversion for standard DVD's, so the playback on the old DVD was better than you would get with a standard DVD player. I watched them on a 32-inch Samsung HDTV.

At first, I didn't know which scene I should choose. I loved Jesse Jane's scene with Stephen St. Croix, maybe I could look for details on the popshot. Carmen and Jeneveve made me cum while I was writing the original review, and I could compare the scars from their boob jobs, or maybe... yes, of course, Janine and Tommy Gunn. She made me cum too, and I can check out the detail on her pussy hair.

But if you're like me, you'll be too busy stroking your stiff cock to notice a major difference during playback.

Extras

The blu-ray has the same extras as the original version, but they all fit on one disk instead of the annoying three disks in the original package.

I listened to the commentary track for a little variation second time through the scene. It isn't bad.

Summary

Pirates is still a great DVD. If you want to get a PS3 for gaming, or if high-tech gizmos give you a hard-on, go ahead and get blu-ray. Otherwise, wait. It will come down in price.
