Initial Expectations: I’ve really enjoyed Private’s Pirate line so far, which gives me a lot of expectations for this installment.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced. The video looks just as good and has very few signs of shadows or pixelation, but does have a little grain.

Music: The music has a classical feel to it which helps with the power feel of some of the scenes. It also has some music that’s on the eerie side that also helps things out.

Menus: As usual with Private, the menus are fairly simple, such as combining the chapter menu with the main menu, but well done. There’s some nice animation and it has a hard feel that fits the feature.

The Feature: Powerslave continues in the normal fashion of Private’s Video Magazine series. In it there are three unconnected stories, which often contain more than one sex scene, and all of which revolve around fetish sex.

The first story, La Condesa, starts things out with bleached blonde butt slut Dru Berrymore smoking a cigarette outside. As she smokes a cigarette, her butler Frank Gun walks up. She teases him by playing with his nipples through his shirt and about being her slave and then has him lick her ass. He takes things further to please his Mistress by tonguing and fingering her pussy, so she rewards him with a vigorous cocksucking. They move things inside, where a fetish wear clad Dru makes Frank crawl up the stairs like a dog and lick her leopard print fuck-me boots while she spanks him a little. For some reason, there strangely aren’t any trailers for any other Pirate features. Bios are included for Carmen, Dru Berrymore, Melory, Suzi, and Vanda. As usual, there’s some nice personal information as well as a listing of all the star’s Private offerings. Finally, there’s production notes which give a little information about the making of the feature and the scenes in it. It’s a nice extra that adds a bit to the DVD.

Overall: Currently, Powerslave can be found online for between $20 and $27 with most stores offering it for around $25. If you’re a fan of fetish sex, it’s well worth the money. The sex is very hot and the transfer is excellent. The extras aren’t quite as good as the rest, but they’re still better than what’s found on most other DVDs.

Note to Private: Please list the actual feature running time on your covers rather than the total DVD running time or include both of them. Just listing the total time can make many consumers feel deceived
