Pet Of the Month (VCX) Review

Review:
A hot, young secretary, Mariwin Roberts, has just been to Hawaii, where she found true love (...or at least lust...) in the arms of her hang-gliding driver, Gary Roberts, in "Pet of the Month". A decent, 1977 release from director Herbert Douglas and VCX, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this production is both titled as it is, and also unique for its time period, for featuring a Penthouse Pet as its primary (only sexual) actress. While not so much of a "thing" these days, up until maybe 20-25 years ago, a Pet in porn was a big deal...to the point where people made lists of them, there was buzz about them, etc. Now...not so much, as it's commonplace. Regardless, Mariwin is a true beauty, and it's a pleasure watching her penetrated on film, even if it is by the same gentleman (presumably also an off-screen lover) and if the sex is quite (...quite..) soft by today's standards. Because of that last fact, most people probably aren't going to like this one as much as they might, but fans of the Golden Age, vintage Penthouse girls in porn, and the like can probably find something worthwhile here.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds Mariwin Roberts paired up with Gary Roberts in a softly-lit oral affair against a plain background. This one evokes a silhouetted feel and is quite tastefully done, though it doesn't really go anywhere. In Scene Two, the couple goes at it again, this time after having just met and at Gary's beach pad. There's vaginal penetration this time but only for a short bit. Scene Three brings together the pair yet again, this time upon a beach, after Gary's done some hang-gliding. There's some oral work here, a bit of vaginal, and a pop that she jerks him to on his stomach, followed by a touch of post-cum head. In Scene Four, Mariwin masturbates herself up into a frenzy on the beach, while Scene Five has Gary eating her out on the beach, again after some hang-gliding. Scene Six is another cock-jerker between the newfound couple, this time with a bit of soapy hand and oral action in the shower. In Scene Seven, it's more oral action involving the duo, now at a hotel and throwing in a good deal of vaginal fucking, as well, which is a real plus (cum-shot on Roberts' backside out of doggy). Scene Eight offers up a romantic, fireside suck-and fuck-with a pop on Mariwin's bush out of missionary to close out the film's festivities. This last sequence takes place at night upon a cliff overlooking the ocean. High on romance, low on raunch, but Ms. Roberts is a looker, no doubt.
