Performers Of The Year 2014 Review

Welcome fans to a recent release from Elegant Angel that brings back one of their premier titles. Performers of the Year celebrates some of the best porn has to offer. Everyone will have an opinion as to who they think deserves to be in this show and Elegant has done a fantastic job in the past of bringing some of those girls in for this series. In this edition we see the likes of Remy LaCroix, Bonnie Rotten, Maddy O'Reilly, Skin Diamond and Riley Reid appear with Veruca James also showing up for a good part of the Riley scene that opens this production. 3 of the scenes, Riley, Remy and Skin open their scenes talking directly to the camera telling us about themselves and what works for them sexually. The other two scenes also feature interview time though here the questions are asked by the director of that scene who in both cases is Mimefreak. I liked the approach of the scenes where the girl talked directly to us with no one asking questions. Of the five scenes Bonnie, Remy and Skin added anal to the other hot action captured. Let's get to some highlights.

Riley Reid:

Riley starts us off and we get a few minutes at the outset for Miss Reid to talk directly to us telling us about how she came into the biz and what gets her off sexually. It was interesting to listen to and from there she is joined by Veruca James and this leads to some very good g/g fun. The g/g here was quite good and set the tone for this show but it wasn't all lesbian fun as Veruca makes her exit allowing Jon Jon to enter so from g/g we go to IR and Riley doesn't miss a beat. The second scene for this show features Bonnie Rotten who indeed took home the prize at this years AVN show for Performer of the Year and I hadn't seen a lot of Bonnie work in 2013 until nearer the end of the year but what I saw was very good, volcanic at times with the energy level this girl puts out. Bonnie begins here answering some questions posed by the scenes director Mimefreak and pretty much this elicits the same responses we got in the first though there it was just the girl talking directly to us. Bonnie is very much at ease in front of the camera either talking to us and especially when the time for talking stops and the time for fucking BEGINS! Ramon Nomar is a good guy to pair her up with and the two generate plenty of heat here. I don't recall seeing Bonnie squirt though at least not shown but her stockings seemed to get wet during the scene and her hair is messed up by the end of the scene, editing perhaps though I can't imagine why you'd want to take that out. Bonnie is very good at every aspect of a scene from sucking cock to then taking that hard dick in both of her holes though here in this scene it was all anal from what I saw, not bad at all! Bonnie takes a pop to her mouth closing out another strong Rotten scene! In the BTS you see the squirting that was not included in the scene, very strange to see it put here rather than during the main scene.

Remy LaCroix:

The next scene features another big winner from this years AVN awards. Remy came off her Best New Starlet win from last year to take another big prize at this years show, Best Actress. Both awards were much deserved by Remy who in this scene does all the talking at the start going back to the approach we saw in the initial scene. This scene features Remy with James Deen who it seems has good chemistry with a lot of the girls. Carlos Dee is the director for this scene and captures another Remy classic. Lots of good kissing at the start between the two performers moving nicely to some fucking and what Remy scene would be complete without some hot cowgirl riding. Of the girls featured in this show Remy probably had the juiciest ass and that's saying something with the girls we get to watch in this show. Remy performs some sensual head during this scene as well which I prefer over the hard gack, gack, gack attack you see in other scenes. James also takes some time to drill that booty before dropping a load on her face with clean up from Remy. Well done and we can only hope for a lot more from Remy in this upcoming year.

Maddy O'Reilly:

Moving right along we meet Maddy next who gets directed by Mimefreak in this scene and we hear him asking her questions which Maddy is quick to offer good answers too. From what I saw in 2013 Maddy tends to like her scenes a little more on the aggressive side so she'll be very popular with the harder style gonzo fans and she is paired up with Karlo Karerra and Ramon is back too and he's very good at playing rough with the ladies when asked to. The scene featured Maddy wearing a blindfold for nearly 3/4 of the scene so those eyes remain hidden for virtually all of the cock sucking and fucking witnessed during that time. The guys were indeed rough doing some hair tugging, slapping at her tits and then drilling that pussy with wild abandon. Maddy was more than up for what these fellas dished out and finally they remove the blindfold but the action remains very aggressive. Still overall a strong scene for Maddy fans and we know she has since added some anal scenes and the new Slutwoman should do even more now in 2014, stay tuned!

Skin Diamond:

The last scene features Skin who has a classic look for sure starting right off with how her hair is styled. This scene is directed by Asa Akira though we never see or hear her just Skin to begin talking to us about how she got in the biz. Beginning in Paris with James Deen and Joanna Angel is pretty good 'eh! From that we get some good tease from Skin showing off sexy lingerie and that leads to Mr. Pete and James having some fun with her. Lots of good energy here from the trio with some great dick sucking from Skin and the boys take turns banging her hard then some tag team action including DP loving. The loads come and both are strong blasts to her face with clean up from Skin. I sense she'll be a big time player this year so be ready for more.

Extras & Final Thoughts:

This was a good show from Elegant showing off every director I believe that currently shoots for them. The talent was strong too and as I said everyone will have their opinions on who they'd want in this show. Personally I would have shot Jada Stevens and Anikka Albrite for this one too but how do you add them and take two out, it's hard! Overall the teases were good and the scenes featured good action including anal in three of the scenes. Extras included some additional BTS and adding that to the good interviews before the scenes give you a good chance to get to know these ladies. It should be fun speculating as to who might be in the next volume, it will be fun these next ten months seeing who is featured in the various productions from this top notch studio.
