Initial Expectations: Bud Lee has made quite a few good couples movies, and the female cast here is impressive enough to make me think this is going to be another one.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio and video both hover around VHS quality. The audio is pretty well balanced, but does have a little noise here and there. The video is fairly fuzzy, and doesn’t put any of DVD’s potential to use. The video also has a flashing bar that occurs now and then along the lower edge.

Menus: The main menu is very plain with a minimum of animation. The chapter menu is also simple, letting you choose a scene based on a small clip and the chapter number.

Finally, Dizzy Blonde, who by this time seems like a pathetic loser, gets Rayveness in his dreams. With the way his character is through most of the movie, it’s no surprise that this is the only way he can get her. In a way I’m happy it’s done this way, as it’s obvious from the start that the movie’s going to end with these two bumping uglies. They exchange oral favors, with Dizzy giving a lot more than he gets, before he starts fucking her as she lays back on the couch. They move behind the couch so Dizzy can fuck Rayveness from behind while standing and finally takes his milk of man-esia in her mouth. It’s a pretty hot scene that has great chemistry and energy. Rayveness really shines here and shows that a girl doesn’t need to get extremely nasty to put on one heck of a good show. The lighting hurts this one a bit, since there’s a red light that’s fairly prominent on Dizzy through the last portion of the scene, but Rayveness was putting on such a good show that I was nicely able to put Dizzy out of the picture.

Perfect Strangers is one of the few pornos that has more above average sex than not, but still fails to impress. The girls do a great job here, but Dizzy Blonde, as the main character, is so pathetic that I was hoping for one of the girls to pull out a dildo and start to beat him senseless half way through the feature. All credit for the feature making it as far is it does lies solely with the ladies of the feature. Although not every scene is above average, each of the girls is in at least one scene that is, with the last three scenes really standing out. It’s also hurt by the low budget nature of the feature. Yes, porn has a low budget, but a good portion of the non-sex scenes take place in an elevator that was converted from a stairwell with about three sheets of paneling. There’s nothing wrong with cheap porn, mind you, but it shouldn’t look quite this cheap. Perfect Strangers has some good sex, but the rest of the movie sadly brings it down to a point that it doesn’t impress as much as it should.

Extras: Trailers are included for A Midsummer Night’s Cream and A Witch’s Tail. The photo gallery lasts about a little over a minute and a half, with about five seconds per photo. The gallery mixes together full screen photos and near full screen snapshots very well, but the photos are often a little fuzzy. Of course, there’s also web links.

Overall: Most of Adam & Eve’s standard releases can be found online between about $10 and $25. Unless you’re a big fan of any of the stars here I wouldn’t recommend paying over the lower end. The sex ranges between just below average to good, but the non-sex portions bring it down a lot. The transfer and extras also lack quite a bit to put another nail in this DVD.

Note to Adam & Eve: Please pay a little more attention to your transfers. I’ve seen better looking VHS pictures than this.
