Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is free of background noises, but there are some fairly regular imbalances. The music often detracts from the movie by being overbearing and overly dark, and never enhanced a single scene because of it. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks pretty good. It has a touch of grain and some inconsistent lighting, but the camera work is smooth.

The Movie: India Summer has a women's clothing store, as well as a dark side. Not only does she spy on customers in the changing rooms, but she sets up buyers with some of her staff for “romantic encounters”. Welcome to India Summer's directorial debut!

After meeting at the store, tailor Ariella invites heavily tattooed Mahina over to her house for a little after work fun. Perfect Fit is an okay all girl release. Sadly, with the level of quality Girlfriends Films has put out, that means that Perfect Fit is actually a bit of a disappointment. Taken in pieces it isn't bad, but as a whole it just never seems to come together completely and always left me wanting a bit more. The clothing store isn't a bad idea, but instead of using something classy or fetishy to add to the tease aspect, the store looks like a TJ Maxxx wannabe and seemed disappointing at best. India does a nice job of showing a dark side spying on girls in the changing room and setting things up, but the story is so light that it never builds to where it might have. As for the sex, it too seems like it wants to have a dark side, but isn't quite sure how it wants to go. It starts out with a nice romantic scene, and then moves through bondage, coercion, and other darker fetish aspects. The lack of consistency from scene to scene never worked for me despite some good chemistry, and with how loose the “plot” was I had a hard time being drawn into all of the scenes. I think the scene between Julia Ann and Prinzzess was my favorite, but even that never grabbed me too hard. Perfect Fit has some decent things going for it, which shows some nice potential for India Summer behind the camera, but it just doesn't hold up against the quality Girlfriends Films normally puts out.

Final Thoughts: Rent it.

Note to Girlfriends Films: There was some nice ideas behind this release and I love how you're not afraid to get dark in your scenes, but I hope you help India bring things together a bit more if she's going to continue behind the camera for you. An interview with India about her directorial debut would have been a nice extra here rather than just slopping out the usual no-effort extras.
