Production Date: 8 / 29 / 2000

Director: Brad Armstrong

Cast: Temptress, Alexa, Randy Spears, Alec Metro, Jason McCain, Justine Romee, and George Kaplan in a non-sex role

Initial Expectations: Temptress and Justine Romee are normally great to watch, Brad Armstrong normally makes a great movie, and Wicked normally makes a great DVD. How could anybody not expect it to be great?

Initial Reaction: It’s one of Brad Armstrong’s best, both sexually and non-sexually

Who Should Watch It : Couples, fans of Temptress, Alexa, and Brad Armstrong movies, and anybody who likes a well acted strong plot with their sex

Who Should Avoid It: Raincoaters

Audio /Video Quality: As usual from Wicked, the technical aspects are excellent. The audio is very clear and well balanced, although there are a couple seconds that I think might have been dubbed. The video has a few shadows, but they fit the scenes and help to give some of them a little depth.

Music: The music is very well balanced with the rest of the audio. It’s fairly typical, but does change a little to help out the scenes.

Menus: As usual, Wicked has put some extra effort into making this look like a great DVD. The menus have a great COPs or action movie type feel to them. As usual, the chapter menus list the scenes by number rather than by the star of the scene, but the clips of the scenes are easily seen and fit nicely into the menu design.

The Feature: In Partners Forever, Randy Spears plays a cop who’s killed in the line of duty. The light at the end of the tunnel somewhat eludes him, and a year later he returns as a ghost, determined to bring his killer to justice. The only person who can see him is Temptress, Randy’s old partner, since he can only be seen by those who were around him when he died.

Randy Spears starts things off right away with Alexa as the opening credits role by. He works his way down to Alexa’s south side, where he works her over with his tongue and fingers before she works his unit over orally. The foreplay acts as just that and doesn’t take up much time before Randy spears Alexa’s pussy from a few different angles. Surprisingly, they don’t finish it with a pop shot right away, instead delaying the facial and working it into the plot very well. It’s a very good scene with great chemistry that works both sexually and as a plot device.

Temptress gets busy with Jason McCain, her partner both on and off duty, next, starting off with some nice kissing. It continues as Jason slowly works his way down Temptress’ wonderful natural body to her completely shaved pussy. He works her over with his tongue and four of his fingers before she squats her twat down on his cock. He continues to work on her from behind before dropping his wad in her mouth, most of which she appears to swallow down. It’s a very hot scene despite not getting to watch Temptress put her oral skills to work.

Randy Spears takes over Temptress’s body to give Alexa a final goodbye. It’s an interesting blend of a boy / girl and girl / girl scene, since sometimes it’s shown as Randy taking care of Alexa and sometimes it’s shown as Temptress. It works extremely well on the oral portions, but when it comes to the intercourse it’s a little weird since Temptress pretty much just grinds on Alexa’s stomach. It’s helped out a little since Temptress constantly doesn’t moan like she’s getting the piece of her life but instead acts very subdued and guy-like. The chemistry between Randy, Temptress, and Alexa also helps it to work out as a pretty hot scene, but it still comes off a little weird.

Alec Metro and Alexa are joined in mid-fuck in the following scene, completely skipping the foreplay. They work through a few positions, and keep the energy nice and high all the way through the deep post fuck blowjob that helps Alec to blow his load on Alexa’s neck and chest. It’s another pretty hot scene that has pretty good chemistry but mostly a lot of energy.

Temptress and Randy, realizing they now share more than just Alexa in bed, get busy back at Temptress’s place. It starts off very hot from the initial moments, as well as having such great chemistry that the scene seems meant to be. Randy and Temptress work each other over orally, with Temptress completely devouring Randy’s cock and using enough spit that I wondered if they’d need a life raft to fuck on. They work through a couple positions fucking and finish it off with Randy gushing his ghost goo onto Temptress’s face. It’s a very good scene that has some great heat.

Alec Metro returns for the final scene, this time to bang Justine Romee. It starts out appearing like it’s going to be a pretty hard scene, with some rough nipple action and quite a bit of spanking. When it’s time for Alec to eat Justine’s pussy she grinds it into his face good as well as trash talking him through it. Alec doesn’t limit his fingers to her front hole, and gives her a good hard ass fucking with his fingers, as well as giving her pussy a few. Justine keeps the momentum going through the blowjob, and gives Alec some vigorous tit-fucking as well before she spreads her pussy over his cock. Alec doesn’t spend much time there, however, since Justine would rather have him in her ass as she plays with her pussy. They finish it off with Alec spraying his love lotion all over the front of Justine. It’s an extremely hot scene that holds its heat through the entire movie.

Partners Forever is one of the best all around adult movies I’ve watched in quite a while. The plot progresses nicely and could stand alone even without the sex. It doesn’t have the normal plot holes that almost always plague adult movies and is helped out even further by extremely good acting from the entire cast. The sex is just as good as the plot, and fits right into the storyline rather than feeling forced into a storyline. You can still see it coming sometimes, but it feels natural. The movie is even finished by real credits. The only way this one is leaving my shelf is to go to my DVD player.

Extras: Of course, the standard Wicked extras are here. There’s the nicely done promotional material, Wicked Casino, Wicked Web link, company profile, and the list of Wicked’s AVN and DVD award winners and nominations. The audio bios include Temptress, Alexa, Justine Romee, Alec Metro, Randy Spears, Jason McCain, and Brad Armstrong. As usual as of late, Wicked has tailored the audio bios to match the feel to the rest of the menu, which is a great touch. There’s some personal information, a listing of some of the stars other Wicked movies, and a link to the star’s scene. Trailers are included for Flashpoint, Heartache, Vengeance, Working Girl, Knockout, Crazed, Dream Quest, and The Bride of Double Feature. Also, as Wicked has been doing lately, two photo galleries are included, one from the movie and one from behind the scenes. The movie gallery lasts a little over two and a half minutes while the behind the scenes gallery lasts almost two minutes. In each case, each photo lasts five seconds.

There are also two interviews, one with Alexa and the other with Brad Armstrong. Alexa’s interview lasts a little over three minutes. She talks about her personal life, having her hair pulled, and getting spanked. It’s a pretty good interview, and Alexa doesn’t come across nearly as flakey as she has in other interviews. Brad Armstrong’s interview lasts about two minutes and he talks quite a bit about the movie and what happens. It’s a nice little run down, but there are a few spoilers and a bit that was censored out that interfered a little.

All Access: The Making of Partners Forever is a thirteen minute behind the scenes look at Partners Forever. As usual, the entire cast is interviewed and identified while they’re on screen so you know who everybody is. The featurette ends up a nice mix of clips from the movie being mixed with clips of the scene being shot, interviews with the stars and Brad Armstrong, and shots of what’s happening behind the scenes. As usual, Randy Spears is very amusing, both with some of his lines as well as physical humor, Alexa comes off as a bitchy bimbo, and Brad Armstrong comes off as very professional. It’s a very good behind the scenes, especially when one considers the length.

Finally, there’s an audio commentary with Brad Armstrong, helming most of this one all by himself. David Crawford, Wicked’s DVD guru shows up for a little bit, as well as Jonathan Morgan and a few others. They’re mostly there to harass Brad Armstrong, and are a little difficult to hear. It’s some of the best parts of the commentary, since after the first half hour or so Brad starts to run down on things to talk about and there are quite a few dead spots in the commentary. Wicked has stayed away from doing one person commentaries for quite a while, and I’m guessing that Brad’s handling this one by himself since both Temptress and Alexa have left the industry. It’s too bad that they didn’t get Randy Spears to join Brad in the commentary, as I think it would have helped things out quite a bit. If there aren’t any stars available, it might also be nice to include David Crawford or one of the editors in the commentary, since they have been around the movie quite a bit and can either add some interesting information or ask questions to keep the ball rolling. Perhaps the biggest problem with the commentary is the phone calls. Brad gets several calls on his cell phone as well as the phone in the room, most of which you get to hear. It’s very distracting and brings down the commentary a bit. Compared to many of Wicked’s other commentaries, this one is a big letdown.

Themes: Straight, lesbian, masturbation, spanking, anal, and tit-fucking

Raincoat Factor: Medium

Overall: Currently, Partners Forever can be found online for between $22 and $30. Although the extras don’t quite live up to their full potential, the movie and technical aspects are both excellent. If you’re curious about or a fan of anybody in the cast or Brad Armstrong’s movies, you can’t pass this one up.

Note to Wicked: Great job on the movie, but please give the directors somebody to talk to in the future. The commentary was the biggest flaw of the entire DVD.
