Initial Expectations: Kimi Lixx has become one of my favorite stars, which made me have high hopes for it as soon as I heard she was in it.

Initial Reaction: It’s a good feature and a series that I think I’m going to have to check out more of.

Who Should Watch It : Fans of newer talent, raincoaters, legs, and panty hose

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants a plot or talent they’ve seen at least twenty times before

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Digital Sin, they’ve put quite a bit of effort into the technical aspects. The audio is very clear, and often just a little too clear. You can often hear some minor background noises such as things being dropped, a little music from somebody’s stereo, and what sounds like another adult film being made. The video is a little off, and suffers a little from shadows and a little too much natural light. In a really unusual problem, the first scene looks like there’s another image on top of the main image, which appears to be partially shadows and partially a product of too much light. You can barely even tell what or where the background is if you look, and it’s weird enough that it completely distracted me from the actual scene.

Music: In much the same manner as in Digital Sin’s Naughty College Schoolgirls series, the only music is during the short lead in to the sex scene. At these times, it’s also the only audio. It’s a nice change from normal, although a little music might have helped to hide some of the quiet background noises.

Menus: The menus are extremely basic and don’t even have any animation. The chapter menu lets you pick a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a chapter number.

The Feature: Panty Hoes 3 continues a new series for Digital Sin. As with most of their series, there isn’t a plot, but instead a common theme to connect the scenes. In this series, it’s panty hose. Each girl wears it, and the guys have to rip it open to get at the goodies inside. The girls often start out putting the panty hose on at the start of the scene and give a little tease before their partner shows up.

Calli Cox, an attractive implanted blonde, starts things out with Bret Rockman after pulling on some cream colored panty hose and showing off a little for the camera. This is the first time I’ve seen either of them, and from the get go I had the impression that Bret’s a suitcase pimp. Bret starts at Calli’s toes and works his way up and around, finally sinking a few of his fingers and his tongue into her gash after ripping her stockings open. Of course Calli returns the favor with a little rubbernecking over Bret’s member, which she does with some nice energy. It’s a very fun opening to the scene that made it start living up to the high standard I expected from it by having two of my favorite performers in it. If you’re a leg or panty hose fan, you’re going to want to check out Panty Hoes 3. The directors focus very nicely on the leg aspect, while not getting so far into it that others won’t be able to enjoy the feature also. Kate Frost, Maxi Erickson, and of course Kimi Lixx turn in great performances that make it easy to forget whoever was in those other two scenes. Kimi’s scene alone is worth checking out the DVD, which I know is going to get quite a few replays.

Extras: The feature side of the DVD contains only a few extras. The photo gallery contains about twenty five very nice looking full screen photos, but the lead-in to it lists it as being from She Squirts 6. I almost stopped watching it right there, but my curiosity made me check it out only to find out that it’s really from this feature. There’s also company and website information.

The second side of the DVD contains what has become Digital Sin’s standard extras, and I do mean standard. They haven’t changed a single thing here since they started using the second side of the DVD for a large assortment of extras. There’s trailers here from almost all of Digital Sin’s series, most of which are starting to become slightly dated. The My Plaything section doesn’t even include My Plaything: Jenna Jameson and the Naughty College Schoolgirls series doesn’t make it past the fourth entry. There’s also several interviews and short clips of many stars who have appeared in Digital Sin’s movies. The entire thing is a great assortment if it’s the first time you’ve seen it, but after going this long without changing it starts to bring down the DVD by making it look like Digital Sin doesn’t care about keeping things fresh for the consumer. Combining the old extras with the lack of care in labeling the photo gallery on the first side brought the extras here down to just below average, but you should be able to add at least a full point if you haven’t seen Digital Sin’s bonus side yet.

Overall: Currently, Panty Hoes 3 can be found online for between about $18 and $25 with almost all stores offering it for under $20. If you’re a fan of legs or fresher talent, it’s well worth the lower end. The sex is much better than average and the transfer has a few problems but is normally very good. Perhaps the biggest problem with the DVD is the extras which feel completely recycled after seeing them so many times.

Note to Digital Sin: Please edit your features a little better. If the background noises were taken out this would have been a much better feature. Also, please change your extras. These are so familiar that they’re bringing your DVDs down.
