Initial Expectations: Shot at Home is one of the few studios who’s earned high expectations from me with every one of their movies.

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with amateur porn, the technical aspects aren’t up to the same level as in studio porn. The audio is slightly off balance at times, as the traffic seems a bit louder than the performers at times, but is normally clear and you never have a problem hearing the performers. The video has some slight grain, but it’s even throughout the movie and there aren’t any remnants that pop up. There is, however, a few areas with some bad pixelation. As usual, there are a few odd camera angles, a few shadows, and a bit of camera shake, but they aren’t ever so bad as to interfere with the action and many times helps give the feature a bit of charm.

Disc Problems / Complaints: Shot at Home puts a watermark on their movies. I know that this annoys a lot of people, but I think it’s very tastefully done and if people don’t concentrate on it they’ll easily get past it. It’s rather small and stays in one position throughout each scene rather than moving around and popping in and out where you notice it all the time. I don’t care for watermarks, but it’s done pretty well here.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu gives a small screenshot and your choices while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on six small stills from the movie. The chapter menu will also let you jump directly to the different clips in the extras.

The Feature: Vanessa, an extremely cute brunette with a pierced nose and navel and a great natural body, is the focus of this Shot at Home installment. She heads off with Rob for a little action in the great outdoors. Of course, just because she’s labeled as an outdoor whore doesn’t mean she’s going to wait until the woods to get started!

Vanessa lets her true natural out almost immediately as she drives down the road with Rob in the back seat and another guy driving. Even the camera angles, which have to do things like go through the sunroof of the car when they’re parked on the street, work great! Yes, there’s a few obstructed views, but that’s to be expected with amateur porn. The only thing that seems to be missing here is a decent facial. Yes, I would have loved to have seen Vanessa take a trip down the Hershey Highway, but she’s so fun to watch here that the scene seems fine even without it. Note to Shot at Home: I really wish that this series had a different title. Although I’m sure if draws a few people in, I can see a lot of people really loving it who’d be turned off by the name and pass it by.
