Open Trench Review

I thought this one would be good. The concept sounded exciting, the actors looked interesting, and Drew Warner as director promised a good film. I was wrong. This was one of the most tedious and boring films I have viewed in a long time. Warner was obviously falsely credited as editor because the film didn’t appear to be edited much at all, and that, coupled with the fact that the director and actors seemed disinterested in the whole thing, gave us a film that promised much but delivered little.

We start out with Jackson Price being tied to a padded sawhorse by Enrico Vega. Vega then proceeds to rim Price for a total of 15 minutes. Now 15 minutes is not too long a time if you are the one being rimmed. But watching someone else being rimmed in an unchanging position for 15 minutes is approximately 10 minutes too long! Price then gets Vega to move him over to a sling where he will have better access to his ass. Vega stuffs about a pint of lube up Jackson’s ass and fills it with a large black dildo. This is followed by another slightly larger dildo. The dildoing goes on for 12 minutes or so. Vega then offers Price his uncut cock to suck and Jackson chews on the foreskin and sucks for a while. Enrico then moves into position to fuck Price. After the dildos however, this is like watching a Volkswagen Beatle enter the Holland tunnel. Total duration of scene: 43 minutes. 20 would have been quite sufficient. The dialogue was clichéd and annoying throughout with the usual “Oh, yeahs” and “I’m gonna fuck yous”.

Next we have the virile Rafael being chained to a wall by Michael Vincenzo. For some reason this scene is filmed in Black & White. (Color too expensive, Drew?) Michael beats Rafael with one of those swishy whips that wouldn’t hurt a fly if you hit it dead on. Is anyone turned on by watching these phony beatings? This silliness goes on for a total of 7 minutes. Michael then proceeds to eat out Rafael’s ass. This continues for 6 minutes. After being released from the wall we find Rafael sucking Michael’s cock in an unchanging position for 7 minutes. He then rims Michael for 4 minutes. Hey! Things are speeding up! Uh oh, spoke too soon. Michael then fucks Rafael doggy for 11 minutes. Again the dialogue is peppered with “Like thats?” and "fuck mes”. After Michael cums, Rafael licks his boots, jacks off onto them and licks off his spooge. Duration of scene: 38 minutes.

In scene three we return to color. Eddie Moreno is discovered with his dick lodged in a penis pump. Eddie has more tattoos than an island chieftain. The pump really doesn’t seem to do much to or for Eddie’s dick and the scene creeps along for 8 minutes. After that he takes off the pump and swats and jiggles his dick. As this scene was even more tedious than the first two scenes it was time to use that DVD option of speeding up the scene. Duration of Eddie’s scene: 11 minutes. Funny, it seemed much longer.

Scene four introduces us to newcomer Mike Austin who is paired with Brad McGuire and Adam Wolfe and things actually pick up. Mike’s hands are tied above his head. He is wearing a cock ring and a thick metal band about his balls to keep them from rising. His cock is rock hard and Adam can’t resist going down on it. Weights are then hung from the ball cincher as Brad slaps Mike’s balls. Nipple clamps attached to a chain are applied to Mike‘s nipples for some yanking. He apparently shoots a small load during the ride but we don’t see it fly out, as the camera was not properly positioned. We do see the others drop their loads. If the other scenes had been on a par with this one, we would have had a pretty good film. And doesn’t “Open Trench” suggest fisting?

It’s an auspicious debut for Mike Austin. But is it worth getting the DVD for this one scene? I’m really in a quandary as to whether to keep this one or not. I’ve definitely decided not to spend my money on OPEN TRENCH 2. Then too, I have Mike Austin in PLEDGES where his scene with Devan Barry is the hottest thing in that one. Ah, decisions, decisions.
