One On One 3 (Red Light District) Review

This is one of the few titles in the gonzo world now dedicated to that new fetish, one man/ one woman sex scenes. For this outing, RLD sent 3 American actors and their director down to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in March of 2003, to (hopefully) have some hot sex with some hot Brazilian babes. Did they succeed?

In a word, no. What got filmed is some of the lamest sex I've ever watched, that was boring within the first few minutes of each of the six scenes. That's what can happen when you pair very young, inexperienced-looking women with older men, men with whom they share not one word of a common language. Each pairing loses out on that one essential ingredient that makes for a good boy/girl scene – some chemistry.

The six women are not very attractive and worse, are awkward in front of the camera; all have difficulty following what the director or actors want them to do. Luckily there's a translator hired, who stays on the set for all the footage, so the women are able to comprehend necessary directives, like "Look at the camera" or "Don't wipe the cum off your face". They even need the translator to tell the one actress Shyva, that Mr. Pete likes her pussy. She hardly reacts to this compliment.

Apparently, all the women have gone to the same Brazilian School of Fake Moaning, where they were schooled in the fine art of monotone rhythmic vocalizations. This only adds to the boredom factor. The actors, Joel Lawrence, Mr. Pete and Mr. Marcus, occasionally say something to the actresses, but it's of little use due to the language barrier.

Each scene moves through the expected BJ, brief pussy licking/fingering, mish vag, doggy vag, spooning vag, CG and RCG, then facial cumshot. Two of the scenes also have anal sex, though the actresses don't look comfortable while doing this.

The only part of the film that's mildly interesting is the Behind-the-Scenes footage. Here we witness Mr. Marcus taking two breaks to stuff his face with food, right in the middle of one of his scenes. He can't decide if he wants more chicken or more pussy (the director asks him this vital question. Mr. Marcus hesitates before giving an answer). Mr. Pete is shown doing one of the actresses in standing doggy while she is engrossed in reading a girlie magazine, which the guys generously allow her take home. Joel Lawrence gives us a rundown on all the things that went wrong with their trip to Brazil, starting with the fact that all four men neglected to get entry visas. Hello? Not one of them thought to ask the airline or a travel agent what documents they would need to enter the country?

My advice to RLD: the men should have stayed home. My advice to you readers: save your time and money and watch something else.
