One Night Stand with Danielle Rogers Review

Initial Expectations: Early nineties porn often leaves a lot to be desired for me, but with Danielle and Randy here I’m willing to give it a chance.

Initial Reaction: This one night stand should have been put to bed much earlier.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting good technical aspects or a lot of hot sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio has a decent balance, but there’s a loud hum in the background at some points. The video has a fair amount of grain and lousy lighting. It looks pretty close to a second generation VHS copy.

Music: It’s the typical loud and cheesy music that made porn in the early nineties so easy to make fun of.

Menus: The main menu has a small clip of the movie. There is no chapter menu, which makes the DVD feel really cheap.

The Feature: Randy Spears is having a mid-life crisis. He’s sick of directing hard rock videos, and the closest thing he has to a girlfriend (Sheri Taylor) doesn’t want it to be more than one night stands. When he meets his brother’s (Tom Byron) fiancé (Danielle Rogers), things start to clear up, with the exception that his perfect woman is marrying his brother.

Randy Spears starts things out with Sheri Taylor. He kisses his way down to her snatch before letting her return the favor. He spoons her and fucks her missionary style before popping on her tits. It’s an okay scene that’s easily forgotten.

Tom Byron gets busy with Alice Springs in the shower before supper. Alice starts off sucking Tom outside of the shower, and then moves inside to finish it up before he eats and rims her from behind. Tom fucks her from behind and finally lets Alice suck him to a facial. It’s another lackluster scene that almost noses its way up to average.

Danielle Rogers watches one of Sheri Taylor’s movies, which puts Sheri with Peter North and Lynn LeMay. The girls team up to warm Peter up before the girls get in a line so Peter can fuck one while the other gets eaten out. Finally, Peter pulls out and pops on Sheri’s stomach. Through it all, Danielle plays with herself with her fingers and finally a toy. Danielle’s masturbation is the best part of the scene. She gets into it pretty good, which shows some good acting skill since the scene’s okay at best.

Sheri Taylor and Alice Springs get busy in the woods in the penultimate scene. The kiss and grope their way around before Alice goes down on Sheri. After getting worked over, Sheri reciprocates. It’s a pretty average lesbian scene and nothing to get the blood flowing too well.

Finally, Danielle Rogers and Randy Spears hook up. I’m guessing that this was either shortly before or while Danielle and Randy were married in real life, as they have some very good chemistry here. Unfortunately, the scene itself is pretty average again. Danielle gives Randy a nice blowjob before he fucks her from behind and missionary style on the kitchen counter. Finally he pops on her bush. It’s easily the best scene in the movie, but that isn’t too hard here.

One Night Stand is boring and easily forgotten. Virtually everything about it is lackluster, with the exception of Danielle Rogers, who has more charisma here than the entire rest of the movie put together. Yes, Randy Spears is supposed to be miserable, but it’s passed on way too well to the viewer. One Night Stand is one night too many.

Overall: Currently, One Night Stand can be found online for between $8 and $23, with almost nothing in between. Either rent this one or pick it up at the low end, since I don’t think it’s going to have much replay value. The movie’s boring and forgettable, the technical aspects leave much to be desired, and there isn’t anything worth mentioning for extras.

Note to New Machine: It’s great that you’re releasing older titles like this, but if you’re not going to put any effort into them, please make it so most stores can sell them for under $10.
