Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and decently balanced, but rarely felt extremely crisp or clear. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks good. It has a touch of grain that gives it some nice artistic style, and it's very realistically lit. It also has a little noticeable camera motion in places that feels more like it's for gonzo porn than feature porn.

The One I Lust is a well done parody. I'll admit that I was expecting more of an all sex movie than a feature with this much substance, and I'm really impressed with how well the limited storyline segments set up the scenes. Kendra Lust and Steve Holmes do a great job through the acting, and give some nice substance to the emotional backbone of the movie. Of course, the main draw here is Kendra and the sex, and she completely shines in all four of the scenes. Her opening scene with Manuel is every bit as good as expected, and the threesome with Vicki and Steve is fantastic. She does a great job in her blowbang, and finishes things very well taking on Steve and Jessy at the same time. That said, I was a little disappointed with some of the camera work. There's quite a few times where the camera work has a gonzo porn style feel, and it just didn't mesh well with the artistic style of the rest of the movie. Other than that, I was really impressed with the job Kayden Kross did both as the director and writer of the movie. I haven't seen the original movie The One I Lust was based on, but I will say that it feels like a solid homage to it. In the end, The One I Lust leaves me with very mixed feelings. It's very well done, but the mood of the movie is a bit eerie and revolving around a marriage on the rocks it's also a touch depressing, which isn't exactly the sexiest combination. At the same time, outside of a little gonzo porn camera work it's very well done and the sex is very hot with Kendra Lust turning out four scenes that are bound to please her fans. The One I Lust leaves me a little torn, but is well worth the rental to see how well it works for you if you're at all interested in it.
The Extras:
Extras include trailers, bios for Kendra and Vicki in a nicely different format, an interview, and commercials.
The interview with Kendra lasts just under five and a half minutes. Kendra talks about Kayden Kross being what drew her to the product, mainstream movies she'd like seen given the XXX treatment, acting, and the script. She also talks about some of her thoughts on plot based porn, female directors, and some of the cast members. This is a very nice featurette. Kendra is very natural in her speaking as she answers the questions and does a nice job keeping things fairly short while also giving some decent detail. This is a very nice addition to the overall release.
