Initial Expectations: Jules makes some of the best fuck flicks around. I can’t go in with anything less than sky high expectations.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who loves interracial sex or fine asses

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who thinks sex should be quick and finished or slow and boring

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Evil Angel, the technical aspects are excellent. The audio is very clear and well balanced, while the video is free from grain and evenly lit through most of the entire movie. There are a few moments that do show a little grain, but they’re very few and very far between. The lighting is a bit more problematic, but since Jordan often uses natural light in his scenes I’m a bit more forgiving towards this. Lighting is a lot of what makes Jules’ style so artistic, and even though it’s a bit inconsistent at times, it never interferes with the scenes.

Music: None.

Disc Problems / Controversy: As with the rest of Jules Jordan’s DVDs brought out after Flesh Hunter 4, there’s a watermark in the lower right corner. It’s not something I like the idea of at all, but in reality I think the thought’s worse than the deed. Yes, it did jump out at me a few times throughout the movie, but I’m really not sure how often it was that it really jumped out at me compared to me thinking out it being there and noticing it. The watermark stays in the same place throughout the movie, which I think helps it to not be quite so noticeable, and sometimes it wasn’t even visible due to the background it was on. Jules thought that this would help him regain a little of what’s pirated from him, and if this is what it takes, then I’m all for it. As good as he is behind the camera, he’s still a businessman, and as such he has to protect his product. I know that he listens to his customers and I’m 100% sure that if another way comes along that he thinks is better, he’ll go for it since he knows a lot of people don’t like watermarks. (While writing this review I actually learned that Jules is discontinuing the watermark on his features and is going to use other methods to combat piracy. It’s great to see just how much Jules listens to his customers.)

Menus: Evil Angel has put their usual care into their menus. The main menu is a bit basic, but still includes a bit of action from the movie. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on the leading lady in the scene. The fetish menu lets you choose things such as teases, blowjobs, or anal to watch.

The Feature: Lexington Steele is off limits to Jules Jordan, but as the title points out, once you go black, you never go back. Lex doesn’t seem easy to replace, since now Jules has Mandingo, Brian Pumper, Darren James, and Mr. Marcus to do his dirty deeds. As usual, you get some hot teasing to start things off before getting down to some great interracial action.

Smoking hot Cris Taliana starts things out teasing Jules as she walks around a pool patio. After a bit they head inside and up to the bathroom, which has plenty of mirrors and a pair of black dildos attached to the glass shower doors. After playing with them a bit, Cris feels the need for the real thing, at which point she’s joined by Brian Pumper and Darren James. She sucks her way between them while they play with her pussy before letting them fuck her missionary, doggie, and cowgirl styles. In a testament to the power of Cris’ pussy, Brian has to pull out and one point and let go with a little pop. After a bunch more fuckin’ and suckin’, Cris finally has the guys come all over her face. It’s anything but a surprise that this is a darn hot scene. Cris shows the enthusiasm that comes with every image I’ve seen of her, as well as meeting her in person. The guys seem to have just as much fun as she does, and help to turn this into a great start to the feature.

Cris gets a little personal attention from Darren James after the threesome finishes. They start out fucking missionary style, and work in a little doggie and cowgirl before he pops on her face. It’s a short scene, not even lasting five minutes, but still sweet. Cris and Darren continue with some decent chemistry, and put as much into this segment as they did the group scene with Brian.

August, a very cute short haired brunette with an ass that could stop traffic in California if it ever moved, headlines the second scene. Of course she shows off her amazing ass for Jules before hooking up with Mandingo and his fourteen inch cock. August sucks Mandingo and plays with herself a little to get herself warmed up for taking him missionary style. She turns around and jiggles her ass to get fucked doggie style as well as somehow working herself down onto him for a little cowgirl and reverse cowgirl action. She never takes Mandingo all the way down to the base, but I’d be afraid that he’d come out her mouth if she did. They keep going a bit more before August finally lets Mandingo decorate her face. It’s a hot scene with August showing her usual restrained yet fully into it style. August perplexes me a little. I really like watching her, but even though she gets into things very well, she always strikes me like she’s holding back some.

Sabrine Maui starts out showing off in front of a window in some classy white lingerie before she’s joined by Mr. Marcus. She attacks him orally, taking him into her throat several times, before climbing on to bounce on his baloney pony. Marcus fucks her as she lays back as well, starting with her pussy and moving into her ass. Sabrine trash talks like crazy, obviously having a great time and urging Marcus on, as he takes care of her ass, and even takes an ass to mouth as he works her ass through the normal positions. I know it’s nothing close and a very different style, but I couldn’t help but have flashbacks to Leanni Lei and Lexington Steele in Jordan’s earlier movies watching these two. Sabrine plays to the camera a little throughout the scene, but never overdoes it. She shows some amazing enthusiasm and energy throughout the scene, and smiles more than a few times before she finally takes it down her throat a few more times. She finishes things with a facial and then licks up the drops that missed off the carpet. Although similar to the other scenes, this one has a slightly different feel, that I think is mostly due to Sabrine’s trash talking and vocals. Marcus giggling through much of the scene also helps things out, and once again, makes this a darn hot scene!

The penultimate scene features Alexa Rae, who now has so many piercings I don’t think she can make it within fifty yards of any metal detector. She works a bottle of baby oil into her tease while stripping down, and after a bit is joined by Mr. Marcus, who gives her a hand in oiling her up and making sure she’s rubbed down well enough. Alexa sucks Marcus, taking him into her throat repeatedly, before letting him go directly to fucking her from behind. They keep going through reverse cowgirl, missionary, and standing up. After a little cowgirl action, Alexa finally sucks Marcus to a good facial that she doesn’t shy away from at all. As usual, Alexa balances some decent portions of the scene with moments when I think her ego is going to explode again and try to take over the entire movie. She does a good job through the scene, but like the movie’s title suggests, some things you just can’t come back all the way from. Seeing Alexa as a raging egomaniac is one of those things, even though I have to admit that she does a very good job here. I’m sure Alexa’s fans will enjoy this scene much more than I did.

Finally, Melanie Jagger, a beautiful brunette with an amazing body, reveals what she’s hiding under her top as she interviews for a job with Jules. After Jules checks her over, he turns Melanie over to Mandingo. Mandingo explores Melanie’s body a little before she wraps her lips around his freak-of-nature sized cock. She starts with the lips in her head and then lets her lower lips envelop Mandingo’s monster manhood. She also lets her ass swallow Mandingo’s meat, and takes several breaks to lick her ass off his cock. Melanie has really impressed me in the past, and this time is not different. She doesn’t hesitate at all with Mandingo, and makes this an amazing scene, and makes this the best scene in the movie.

Jules Jordan delivers again in Once You Go Black... You Never Go Back. Although I had problems with Alexa’s scene, I’ll admit that it’s a completely personal dislike, and I think that most people who like Jordan’s style will like it. On the extremely positive side, though, Sabrine Maui and Melanie Jagger easily steal the show in this one. Their anal scenes are amazing, and even bypass the extremely fun Cris Taliana. There isn’t a bad scene here, even though I didn’t completely like Alexa’s scene, I even found myself enjoying much of it. Once You Go Black... You Never Go Back is the hottest interracial sex Lex the Impaler, and I think it’s anything but a coincidence that they were made by the same man.

Extras: The photo gallery contains about four dozen extremely good looking snapshots. There’s also a cast list by scene, a bio for Jules Jordan, website information, and filmographies for the entire female cast. Most importantly, there’s nearly twenty five minutes of extra footage from the movie. The extra footage looks and sounds every bit as good as the movie, only you get to hear Jules comments as he directs the cast. Roughly half the featurette is devoted to Sabrine Maui, who even gets to play with Jules a little, and the remaining time is split between Cris and Alexa. I’ll admit to being a little disappointed to not see more of Melanie and August, but I guess I’ll live with it.

As usual, Jules gives you more than your money’s worth. The sex is dang hot, the technical aspects are excellent, and there’s even some extra footage.

Note to Jules Jordan / Evil Angel: The only thing I can think of to improve this DVD is to add a menu for the extra footage to let people jump directly to a specific star’s footage and include a bit of the behind the scene banter with the stars.
