Oliver Twink Review

I don't rent a lot of porn. I was a big fan of William Higgins and JD Cadinot's movies in the 80's, but in recent years I have always been quite disappointed when renting the newer titles. Where was the plot? Where was the erotica? Where were the close-ups? It seemed like the new twink porn was mass-produced stuff with lousy camera work and lighting.

Then I saw a movie called Betwinked over a year ago -- and I was pleasantly surprised. It was like JD Cadinot meets John Waters! I looked at the box cover to make sure it wasn't a reissue of an 80's porno that I had missed. But it wasn't -- it was new! So I quickly looked up the company and bought their other movies. Desperate Houseboys was lousy, but their Da Vinci Load movies were brilliant. I couldn't wait for their next release, and I actually pre-ordered Oliver Twink.

When I got the DVD I didn't know what to expect. Would it be horrendous like Desperate Houseboys? Or would it be brilliant like BeTwinked? Five minutes into the movie, I was relieved that it would be the latter.

The boys, especially Dillon Samuels as Oliver, are beautiful...and hung like horses! The sex scenes are long and chockfull of close-ups. You can see everything in this movie, not just long shots of the models. When Riley Burke eats out Dillon Samuels's asshole, I felt like I was there! I've never seen anything like it.

Dillon Samuels is quite a find. He looks like an angelic Leonardo DiCaprio, but he's a naughty boy. Kyros Christian is perfect as the Artful Dodger, and Jarett Fox was great as Fagin. They have a three-way that almost made me pass out!

I loved the fact that it wasn't one anorexic twink atop another one. The producers were very smart to put twinks together with hunks in the same scenes. For example, Brad Star as Mr. Bumble was a stroke of genius. When he fucked little Oliver in the dirty workhouse it was magic.

As for the campy humor, it was worthy of a classic Mel Brooks comedy. Yeah, it's schtick, but it is very witty and it doesn’t talk down to the viewers.

I wasn’t a big fan of facial cumshots, and this movie has them in every scene. However, now, I am a fan of facial cumshots…thanks to the Jarett fox threesome, when he and Kyros Christian cover Dillon’s face with goo.

In all, this little gem feels like something from another time. A time when porn directors where artists and their work was erotica and not just cheap pornography. I hope the director, Peter Z Pan (stupid name!), goes on to make many more movies. I strongly recommend this movie. Just the fact that I took the time to write this review says it all!
