Notorious Jewel De'Nyle & Shelly Martinez, The Review

To be honest with you and lay my cards out on the table upfront, the only reason I picked up The Notorious was for Shelly Martinez. Don't get me wrong - I'm very appreciative of Jewel De'Nyle and while she's never been at the very top of my "Get this DVD because so-and-so is in it" list, she certainly does nothing to offend me. Plus she's got nice boobs and a cute face which is always a plus. In addition, this is Jewel's return to porn after spending some time away so for historical purposes alone I suppose it's an interesting film to check out. Otherwise, I wasn't particularly interested in this one otherwise as it's mainly bondage / fetish themed and that's never been a niche I've been particularly interested in. Nothing wrong with it but again, like Jewel it's nothing I go crazy over. Still, I went into it with an open mind.

But back to Shelly. Shelly Martinez is a former WWE diva who used to work under the name Ariel for the company on their ECW brand before being released and moving on to some Floridian based company called TNA that has absolutely nothing to do with tits and ass. Trust me, I looked. Before her wrestling stint she did some layouts on a few nude websites that I'm certain don't exist anymore so this isn't her first foray into getting naked for the cameras, but it's her first big DVD feature. Looks wise, I'm in love with the woman. She's Latina with large breasts and some rather large areolas. Some have referred to them as "pepperoni nipples" and I'm sure that's meant to be an insult of some kind but screw em'. I like them and they're something a little different than what you normally see out there. Her hair is long and black while the rest of her body is quite shapely. Shelly likes to do herself up gothic style but in The Notorious she's less gothic and more normal.

At this point I should let you down gently. Shelly doesn't get too explicit herself. There's no pussy to speak of from her let alone spread shots. She's topless and that's pretty much it. Jewel on the other hand makes up for it by showing everything she has including during the insane final scene which we'll get to in a moment. Regardless of Shelly's shyness, she handles herself very well. She's got good expressions during her scenes, especially when Jewel is dominating her with some bondage, and the little cries she lets out when being spanked or otherwise abused are like music to the ears.

So lets get into this:

Scene 1 - We start off with a leg fetish themed scene. The girls are filmed separately for this one. Shelly shows off her bare legs before slipping on a fishnet stocking and playing to the camera. We flip over to Jewel who does the same with a sheer black stocking, teasing with her feet and legs by pulling the stockings against them before slipping them on. The scene alternates between the two as they put on another stocking each and slip on high heeled shoes. Probably a nice scene for the leg and foot fetish fans out there. Jewel looks cute and playful, and Shelly in particular has a great set of legs. Soon, the girls are put together in their outfits. The film has a like, old school effect on it with a little faint snow and a thin black line moving around to make it look like an old fetish video I guess. Neat effect, doesn't distract from the action at hand either. Shelly has a feather duster and the girls take turn drawing it along each other's bodies and bare breasts.

Scene 2 - The fun and games are over, because this one starts out with Shelly laying across Jewel's lap as Jewel is armed with a paddle. Shelly's got on a black leather tube top and skirt with thong panties as well as fishnets and boots. Jewel's got some lacy underwear on. Remember what I said about Shelley's expressions earlier? Well it takes her a bit to grow into them, because her first few reactions to Jewel paddling her are kinda comical. Once Jewel starts calling her a bad bitch and tugs on her hair, Shelly starts to loosen up a bit, strangely enough. The paddling is loud as poor Shelly gets her ass lit up proper here as the verbal abuse continues. Her cries of "Oh!" upon each spanking are delightful I still say. The abuse continues as the girls stand as Jewel forcefully yanks Shelly's top down to expose her breasts so she can smack them with her paddle. She can't resist licking those large aerolas as she does it, or spitting on them for that matter. The paddling continues on Shelly's breasts, ass and legs, with a dominative Jewel even making Shelly kiss the paddle before slapping it against her nipples.

Scene 3 - You know how when you're watching a game on TV and it's half-time, and you kinda have an urge to go get some food and perhaps use the restroom because nothing is really happening? Well, this is basically the half-time show of the DVD. The girls sit outside in fetish wear and smoke. That's it. Again, I've never been a huge fetish fan so maybe the smoking thing just escaped me here, but I felt this dragged on way too long. Literally nothing happens for approximately 10 minutes.

Scene 4 - We've suddenly got a topless Shelley getting tape wrapped around her breasts. I approve. Jewel continues the verbal abuse while taping down her midsection and legs, putting them together. Nice sideboob from Shelly's large swollen breasts courtesy of the tape as she's pushed to the couch. More paddling with a riding crop which Jewel makes Shelly bite down on at points.

Scene 5 - Now it's Shelly's turn to get some revenge. Unfortunately clothed, she whips the bare ass of a completely naked Jewel who gives us the first pussy shots of the movie. Shelly really lights her up and Jewel is happy to help by spanking herself in between whippings. The scene soon turns to Jewel getting clothespins attached to her by Shelly, including under arms, on her breasts and nipples, and on her outer pussy lips. Jewel poses with them for a time before Shelly removes them one by one.

Scene 6 - Unfortunately the last scene was it for Shelly in the film. Scene 6 is all Jewel being nasty in a solo masturbation scene on a shaggy rug. No, there's no dildos or vibrators, as Jewel instead opts to use her hand and the blade end of a freaking SWORD. Jewel gets completely naked for this one while talking nice and dirty to the camera. There's anal fingering as well. The absence of Shelly for this is disappointing but Jewel puts on a very hot solo performance here before telling us all thank you and fuck off. Such a mean girl.

Final Notes - There's basically three reasons to get this one. You either are a big Shelly Martinez fan, you really like Jewel De'Nyle, or you really like lots of spanking and smoking fetish scenes. Not a bad start for Shelly but sadly she hasn't shot anything else since. Recently she left TNA however so maybe we'll get lucky and she'll come back for more, preferably where she does a little more than she does here. I have a funny feeling she might stick to the bondage route however which is fine I guess, but I really would like to see her expand her horizons a bit. Unfortunately I have to drop the score a bit for the 10 minute smoking scene that went nowhere, but I really dug Jewel's solo at the end so I'll give it a 2. Not horrendous or anything but I felt it needed something more. Maybe hardcore fetish fans would be more interested in it overall than I was.
