The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don't think I noticed a single background noise. The video is very straightforward, and has just a touch of grain. The lighting varies a little throughout the scenes and there are a few shadows, but the camera work is nicely done and smooth just as one would expect from a master like The Quaze.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu is okay, and blends the boxcover still with a little background animation for a very generic start. The chapter menu shows some nice care, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl in it.

The Feature

For his first release, star / director Mark Davis keeps things simple. He starts with the girls sucking cock and works them over with two other guys until they pop wherever they want on her.

No Holes Barred is one of those movies that lets me see the line between objectivity and subjectivity as a reviewer. I can't say that it's poorly done, but I can say that it isn't quite my thing. This is a complete meat puppet movie, and as such it's nicely done. Although the girls do look like they're into it, things like chemistry just don't seem to have much of a place here. Every scene starts out with the girls looking like the camera was turned on with their third head bob on somebody's cock and ends soon after the pop. There's never anything like oral for the ladies or a tease to let you get to know the girl before she starts showing just how naturally talented she is so long as there's a bottle of lube nearby. To me, that made the girls seem almost as secondary as the guys were. It's all about the anal and DP, and that's all that seems to matter. For me, I want to see things like tease and a little personality rather than just getting right to the action, and because of that every scene here fell a little short for me. Yes, everybody does seem to be into the action pretty well and it is nicely captured, but at the same time it seems like taking a fine meal and seeing just how quick you can slam it all down rather than enjoying how good it looked when it came out and those first few bites. The only real complaint I can have about the movie is that the editing is very rough and there are very few position changes shown. No Holes Barred isn't quite my thing, but at the same time I can't help but recommend it to fans of anal action and double penetrations.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery contains about two dozen nice looking framed photos. There's also cumshot recaps, strip teases, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The strip tease segments last about twelve minutes and include something for each of the girls. They don't go in the same order of the movie, with Gauge starting things out, followed by Olivia, Taylor, Sophie, and Brooke. There's no way to choose which girl to go to with a menu, and the girls don't even get their own chapter to make navigating the footage easy. The tease footage is good with a nice variety of locations and outfits, but it would have been very nice to have been able to navigate it better.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts a little under nine minutes. Mark starts out chatting about what they'll be doing that day on the set, with Sophie laughing and enjoying her smoke. Sophie poses for a few photos before it moves on with a bit of the scene. The Quaze moves on to chat with Toni Ribas and Tristan Segal about France and Barcelona in his own unique style that's always amusing. Gauge is next, with a few words about anal and Arabs with exploding cocks before the Quaze chats with Mark Davis about his day. It finishes things up with Gauge in action where you can clearly see that she's roughly the same weight as the three cocks she's taking on. It's an okay featurette, but more than anything it casts doubt on whether Mark Davis directed the movie in anything more than name only. I can't help but go away from this featurette thinking that The Quaze directed the movie more than Mark Davis. It also falls a little short by focusing on only two of the five girls in the movie. There's some decent stuff here, but the featurette doesn't make it too far past the average mark.

If you're a fan of anal action and DPs, this one's going to be well worth the money. There's plenty of anal and DPs with no filler to get in the way. The technical aspects are nicely handled, and there's even some effort put into the strokeworthy extras. This is a nicely done DVD.
